Avoid Kings Hill Live Music and Events!! (AKA Kay Commons) This is a despicable, fraudulent agency.
Kay and Kings Hill Events not only lie and steal from musicians, they are disorganized, slanderous and just nasty people. This agency booked me and did not pay: After contacting me through Facebook, Kay gave me two available dates through Whatsapp. I explicitly asked her immediately if the dates were confirmed, to which she replied "Perfect". 24 hours before the first date she still hadn't sent me the exact details of the venue (I knew it was in St.
Neots). She finally did shortly before, I played, recorded videos of all songs, and had great feedback from the crowd. 3 weeks later she still hadn't paid me (£170 for a duo). 24 hours before the next event and she still hadn't sent me the exact venue details (again).
I knew it was Central London. She then contacted me saying she had "Bad Feedback" from the first event and that the second gig "had not been confirmed" because she hadn't sent me the venue details. I had turned down another gig to play this one on a busy weekend, and had to pay my guitarist out of pocket. After weeks of back and forth, she refused to pay anything, and continues to slander my reputation by saying we didn't do a good job at the first event.
Avoid Kay Commons and Kings Hill Live Music and Events at all costs!!
Shame on her for taking advantage of musicians and hurting the entire industry! I will be suing to claim the payment she owes for the second event booking.
