King Pools Review
- - Alleges Ron King and company ripped off the community.
- - Says $75k was spent on a failing pool.
- - Buyer beware; pool is under two years old.
Ron King and company are crooks. Sad that they rip off their own community.
75k and nothing but nightmares with them. Now the pool is not even 2 years old and it is falling down the hill. They have done nothing and the worst part is they don't care.
Buyer BEWARE!!! Worst company I have ever dealt with and its still not over!
King Pools - Pool Construction Review
- - They arrived with a larger bobcat instead of the smaller.
- - They attempted to take down our fence on the property.
- - Ron became irate and insulted me.
Our neighbors are putting in a pool with this company. Ron was supposed to be bringing in a small bobcat to finally start working on our neighbors Pool.
He and his crew showed up with the larger instead. We were well aware that they would most likely need to drive on our side of the yard. No issue, but seeing as they didn't bring the right equipment they thought they could just come and start trying to take our fence down. When I confronted Ron and told him that we didn't own this house and are renting and it was not Ok for him to take the fence down.
He became irate and told me to "Shut the *** up and go back inside". Ron was in the wrong to begin with. He thought he would be sneaky and bring the bigger bobcat instead of the smaller one and when it wouldn't fit, he thought it was acceptable to go on others property and start shaking on our fence to try and force the Bobcat through.
I absolutely do not recommend this company. They are rude and very disrespectful.
KING POOLS in Midlothian, Texas NO ETHICS
- - Sought tune-up price; Jamie said bring it in and would call, but she did not.
- - Kim demanded $60 or keep as-is; I did not authorize repairs.
I called King Pools to obtain pricing information for a pool cleaner tune-up. I spoke with a sales rep by the name of Jamie who told us to bring the cleaner in and they could look at it and give us a price on the tune-up.
I resisted bringing it in at first because I wanted to know a price but she promised to call before ordering parts or making any repairs. Jamie informed me she would call the next day to let me know what the cost would be. She never called so I waited until the 4th day and called them directly. I was informed a "mast" was broken, they already ordered the part, and it would cost $60 to fix it.
I told Jamie I never authorized King Pools to fix any broken parts. She argued with me stating, "If your cleaner is broken you need to get it fixed". I asked to speak with the owner, Kim King, who told me the cleaner was broken and it needed to be fixed. She said the part they order was $60 and I needed to pay for it.
I explained to Kim I never authorized them to fix anything, I simply wanted to know the cost of a tune-up, but she said I have to pay them for the part or they are going to keep my cleaner. I told Kim that I am not comfortable with them repairing my cleaner and based on their display of poor business ethics, I don't want to do business with them. She said if I don't want to pay the $60, then I could come pick up my cleaner "as is".
She informed me "as-is" is disassembled where they tore the cleaner apart to see what problems needed to be fixed. I informed her that was not satisfactory and I needed the cleaner put back together.
