Verified Buyer |Refund for Bed bugs & awful customer service
This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed at and prior to this I was always a fan of Kimpton. We are still arguing with this facility trying to get a refund after finding bugs all over the bed & were refused a room change as well.
We left immediately without any resolution & then were charged an additional amount 3 days after our reservation date which Im now having to dispute along with the initial charge for the original bed bug insanity. Horrible customer service on every level & completely ignored after multiple attempts to contacting the hotel property as well as Kimpton Corporate Support

Left priceless items in closet in room 510. Returned less than 24 hours later, room had not been occupied prior to myself checking out.
Front allowed me with the escort of the head maintenance officer to into room that had been cleaned by housekeeping. To be told that my personal items may still be on housekeeping cart to be turned into the hotels customers left possessions therefore to be able to retrieve upon customer return.

I still haven't heard anything back regarding my complaints. No one has made an effort to rectify this problem.
I am very disappointed it's been almost a month since my stay at Kimpton Overland Hotel and still non responsive. That's no way to treat a guess.
I would still like to have this matter looked into and resolved. Thank you

The Hotel does not provide the stated white glove treatment .
I was very disappointed with this hotel. I stayed at this hotel recently and on 2 separate occasions they tried to keep my incidentals that I payed The first time they charged a higher amount against my incidental deposit which I did not owe .
Then they offered to reimburse me but before they did they put through another charge for the same amount.
A double charge !
So when they refunded the first overcharge they would still get the other over charge by making me think that only one over charge happened and that I received the refund .
They offered a free room to compensate for the problem and gave me the worse room possible that had a refrigerator that did not work , no sky view , and a room located right next to the elevators that we could here in our room . Then they finally agreed to change our room at 2:00 am in the morning after we requested a room change at 10pm .
The second incidental deposit was kept on hold and the hotel refused to refund it and lied and stated that they had no control over the deposit .

Stop lying, you DID NOT leave immediately.
The reason that you are not getting a refund is that they know that you are lying about the bedbugs because you wanted to stay for free. They should call the police on you for fraud.
You had no issue staying there, so then you should have no issue paying. If you cannot afford a hotel room sleep in a homeless shelter or on the streets.
