Resolved: Kids Auto

I have only had the car one year and it has broken down twice, not counting the odometer was broken. The service shop at kids auto can't figure out whats wrong with it but, they want me to make payments on a car that doesn't work? The car has been sitting on there lot for a month. I was sold a lemon, not to mention the $199 down is a lie. I ended up putting $1500 down for a vehicle that, they now have. I suppose to pay for it to be fixed. What ever you do shop somewhere else.

Would you be willing to talk to me about your experience with Kids Auto? I am a lawyer representing a client who has sued Kid's Auto and I would love your help. bdq@***.com

Bought 94' van in Dec 08. Trade in $700 + $1200 cash that alone would have paid off that vehicle.

But like you, the car sits in my yard broken ball joint now transmission going out. And they still want their payment (which has always been on time) I still owe $3900.00 on the loan.

Can somebody tell tdouglas and myself what to do. Im sure we dont want our credit ruined.

Damaged my vehicle

Kid's Auto damaged an axle by grinding it down as a quick fix which resulted in a triple cost to repair at a reputable dealership. After 3 attempts by Kid's Auto to repair a leak in a left axle, I considered trading in the vehicle then changed my mind. Kid's Auto supposed repaired the vehicle by grinding down the original part with the attitude that it did not matter because I would no longer be the owner of the vehicle after trade-in. I find it disturbing for the next person that would own this vehicle. I had the auto repaired by the dealership which resulted in an $800 cost vs. the original $249 cost.
