Verified ReviewerTerrible Customer Service
Visited their table at today's reptile expo, was very interested in a red-footed tortoise. Asked the woman if they have been sexed and she looked at me like I was an idiot then with an attitude said you can't tell their sex until they are older...(In the wild, true, but WRONG- any reputable reptile breeder keeps track of the temperature of their clutch and separates accordingly).
Hoped to find another seller with what I wanted but ended back at their table and watched a terribly uninformed salesman sell a family (who clearly had no idea what they were doing) a sulcata tortoise telling them it was one of the smaller breeds with a 40-year lifespan!!! Are you kidding me?!?!?!? Money-hungry breeders like these spewing misinformation for the sale are the reason so many large tortoises are in rescue situations. I tried telling the family to research before they make the commitment...but the 4 year old randomly pointing at tortoises he wanted got his way.
Good luck to that tortoise!! And shame on you kicksballs.

Verified Reviewer |Sick reptiles, horrific living conditions
I visited the store in search of another ball python. What I saw in the store was horrific!
Snakes riddled with snake mites, nasty dirty enclosures, a dead milk snake and multiple rotting corpses of mice inside of some small colubrid enclosures. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
- Diversity of animals
- Everything else
Preferred solution: The store shut down
User's recommendation: Don’t buy from this store
Horrible experience
A chronic liar that isn't truthful about some of their animals. He will sell morphs that are labeled incorrectly or have nonexistent genes. Plus he often has sick and mite infested stuff next to healthy ones with no quarantine.
Horrible experience
So I bought a snake at the Feb reptile show in NY from this guy. I should have googled his name before I purchased the snake.
As soon as I got her home I noticed she was acting really odd for a ball python. She was also wheezing and refused to eat. Brought her to a vet and she was diagnosed with an RI. I said something to Mr Kick and he said it was a stressed snake and I was clueless.
Fast forward a week and the mites started hatching. A total *** disaster. Once again, no response from this *** Thank God I do have a clue and quarantined this snake from the rest of my collection. I still treated all my BPs with provent a mite.
It's been 90 days and the RI is cleared and the mites are gone but I'm still apprehensive about putting this snake in the room with my other snakes. She's still acting off and while I'm fairly sure it isn't IBD I'm still scared.
Sucks! Don't buy from this guy!
The man is a liar and a scam
Fred Kick lied to me and mislead me into believing I was buying a Argentine black and white tagu baby. After spending the money and taking it home, I realized it was a Columbian black tagu.
I contacted him and he basically said buyer beware and would not refund our money. I will do everything I can to make sure people realize this man is a scam artist.
Best Balls Ever
Kicks Balls are easily one of the best ball python breeders at least on the East Coast.
Mites from ***
I went to the reptile show to pick up reptile bedding. Found out that kicksballs purchased repti chip.
My boyfriend spent $60 bucks on three bags of bedding that day. We went home and settled the bags in the reptile room we have with in 2 weeks our reptile room exploded with mites all my snakes had to be treated in soaking and other treatments. Within all the years i have owned reptiles i never have mites. I keep my animals clear and their containers as well toom me the whole day to put a dent in the mite issue i contacted them and told them what has happened all they did was point the finger at me as if it was my fault.
I would never buy anuthing from them ever again.
Most rudest people who could not take their own blame and points it at other. I have been to many reptile shows and never brought mites home either worst experience ever.

Verified Reviewer |Kick's Ball Pythons
I recently purchased a white lipped python from Kick's Balls Pythons at the New Hampshire Reptile Expo in Manchester, NH. I purchased it for a little more than the going price but I was fine with that because that type of snake is not an easy find.
However, when I got her home, I noticed a bunch of mites, she was wheezing (which they told me was due to her being in shed), and she had little bumps on her. The wheezing didn't stop so I brought her to a vet. $475 for the snake and $850 for the vet bill. The mites were worse than we thought, the bumps were actually worms that got under her skin, and the wheezing was due to a respiratory infection that she has had for God knows how long.
Poor girl. I don't get how someone can be so heartless. The money was well worth saving the poor animal but Kick's should be kicked in his balls. The Kick's Brothers are inexperienced python breeders who care about nothing more but money.
He should not be in business with practices like this. He has no idea what he is doing and has probably harmed more animals than done good. Also, with a business name like that? That should have been my first warning.
WORST SNAKE BUYING EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD. INEXPERIENCED IDIOTIC SNAKE BREEDERS.
I can NOT stress that enough. NEVER EVER EVER BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!
- Hated it lied to make a sale
Preferred solution: To be paid back for vet bills
