Disgruntled customer

I purchased my Kia Rio in Jul 2017, with the intention of it being my retirement car out of the box. Jan 2020 wiper blades replaced and windscreen chip repaired(2nd time) paid R 776.70. Jan 2020 my car was in for 1 week to replace "mechanical failure of rear shocks (no charge still under warranty) Jan 2020 After getting my car back I was told that I have to replace all 4 tyres which I did ( R 3,970.00) Mar 2020 I had to replace a new battery ( R 1,200.00) Oct 2020 +- 6 weeks ago my boot lever gave in and I took it in to Kia Weltevreden and was told they do not have the part available and will only get it in a month's time. This is a tremendous inconvenience since I have to go through the back seats to store my groceries etc. I now have a problem unlocking the one seat which has become quite hard to open. I am disgusted because I thought this will be my retirement car but it has caused me more problems than all my other cars. I am now retired and need help to solve this problem.

Kia Motors Weltevreden Customer Care Review

I'm not angry but very much disappointed with the no service that I'm currently experiencing. I reported my problem within Dec2016 till today I only received one call back from the parts department. I'm starting to have doubts whether my problem will ever be resolved. I need this to be resolved asap as it has been pending for a long time 083209**** Kia Rio 2015

Unhappy Client

I bought a Kia Rio from Weltevreden Park branch. When I asked the sales person which documents I need to bring along when collecting my new car and trading in my old car she advised the following: ID, Driver's License, Proof of Address and 3 months latest payslips. No where did she state the registration documents of the trade in needs to be brought along as well. After the fact that I had my new car for a few months she started threatening me that they will come an repo my the new car from me as they cannot do ownership of the trade in vehicle. When first dealing with the sales person I was told what my monthly installments would be, I could not afford it at that stage and they gave me a better trade in value for the car. I was told if she does not sell the car to me she will lose her job as she needs the sale badly. I find it very unproffessional the way everything was handled. If I had known which documents had to be taken with I would have done so. I will never ever deal with Kia Weltevreden Park again.
