Lack of parts

I am a consultant Engineer in automobile after sales service with experince of 46 years. My daughter (an engineer) has a history of liking KIA cars. She has a Sportage 2019. This is the third time to have a problem and no parts are in store rooms of KIA Egypt, first was fog lights , second was catalytic converter and those two the car runs and no need was there to complete stop of the car but two days ago, the front left window glass blown up while she was on a speed of 100 km/hour and no glass in KIA Egypt and I have communicated all levels to be sure of that and that needs to complete stop for the car. I am living in Badr city (45 km out of Cairo) Mr. Mansour office and Engineer Abdullah said that we will order it and will not receive it before 15 day. The car cannot be used because of winter temperature and also cannot be parked in any street. I am not threatening to send to KIA at Korea, or to write the story in newspapers or face book and Twitter. I need my daughter car to be fixed soon or to be given a car till the glass to be available. Thanks.

Lack of spare parts - not environmentally friendly car

I'm Yasser Hassouna, Egyptian customer of Kia Egypt. I have purchased Kia Sportage car model 2020 in Egypt in May 2019, Then after almost one year and 4 months (October 2020) after i used it for 41,000 KM and although I do all of my acquaintances regularly with the agent her in Egypt with (EIM) i found the motor check engine symbol lighted (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) , when I approached the Agent here in Egypt, they checked the car on 4th October (Work order No 330000****) and advised that the car needs to change the " Catalytic converter " which mainly protects the environment from the vehicle exhaust emissions although all of the fuel I used since I purchased the car with 95 , However mentioned spare part was not available at their stores and need to be imported from Korea which takes almost one month and half (45 days) !! accordingly, they asked me to use the car normally for the mentioned period of time with the current lighted lamp for the engine indicator till they import mentioned spare part !! despite that this is also not environmentally friendly solution at all ! Engine # 809831 VIN #BLL683539 That is currently negatively impacting me due to : - I drive my car currently with a permanent check engine symbol lighted (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) which expose the motor to a real damage in case of any other issue during the next 45 days (this was the Service Agent instruction to me). - I'm now destroying the environment by using a damaged / consumed catalytic converter for 45 days. - I can't imagine that a brand like Kia apply such unacceptable treatment with clients specially when it negatively affects the car engine and exposes it to higher risk as well as threatening the environment which for sure negatively impacting KIA reputation. - How does it come that such important spare part does not exist with large agent like EIM in Egypt specially that the car is still in the warranty period!! I need urgently To replace the catalytic converter immediately for my car. I have ready started to advise all my friends and relatives to not recommend such cars to anyone which unfairly treating their clients and not friendly environment cars.

the next car owner called me and he told me that up until now KIA EIT in Egypt didn't resolved the issue and the multi function control system for using the phone Bluetooth and cassette volume is still not working at all, and he called them twice to follow up with them and still nothing.

For whom it may concern, KIA Motors Egypt is the worst service you will receive regarding KIA Cars. if you are in Egypt do not buy KIA because of the service you will receive after purchasing this car. I've been driving my KIA RIO 2013 car until I've reached the 60, 000 KM and then the multiplication control in the steering wheel went down and completely broke and not functioning like before, i went to EIT service they told it is our responsibility and please wait we will import this peace from Korea or Dubai and then we will call you within 10 days to be able to come visit us again and install it. They didn't respond to my problem till now about 4 month passed and still nothing happened !. I SOLD the CAR and i will never do it again and buy KIA from Egypt.

I faced bad service.

Dear All, I appreciate your usual support and all effort you are doing to satisfy the customer I’m very disappointed from your maintenance branches the below is my complaint regarding the bad service I received from them related to my car. I have KIA Cerato model 2012 ( Motor # 375071 and Chassis # 550**** ) and I’m facing a big problem with your maintenance centers because they refused to change some item in my car under the Guarantee and usually ridicules from the client. The below is the item must change it under the Guarantee and I need your quick action please to change it as you are one of the biggest organization in Egypt. 1. Before the service for 20,000 KM I faced ( تم تأشير طارة الدريكسيون الجلد) and they informed me that we can’t change it in Kattamya Branch and you must change it in Abo Rawash branch with your next maintenance 30,000 KM but it’s not happened because they haven’t the spare part and they postponed changing it with the next service 40,000 KM but this request refused again last Monday 13/1/2013 during the maintenance for 40,000 KM with feedback it’s not under Grantee it’s the customer mistake!!. 2. Bluetooth not working properly since I buy my care and the same scenario above has been happened and the feedback because it’s related to the mobile network!. 3. They must change the key related to the driver glass side and they postponed it during the maintenance 30,000 Km to the next maintenance 40,000 KM and they refused to change it last Mon. 13/01/2014 during 40,000 KM maintenance. 4. during the car maintenance for 20,000 KM I faced a cut of the cable under the driver seat from their side and they told me that they will maintain it in the next maintenance in 30,000 due to time shortage and it’s not happened till now!!. 5. They must change (علبة الدريكسيون ) to solve the problem I’m facing but the Engineer called Ammar informed me that the spare part will be available next week ISA and I must leave the car for 2 days to change it and it’s under Guarantee but I need your support to take the care in same day. Appreciate your soonest feedback to solve my problem and close all the above issues as it’s one of the client rights. I’d like to thank the Eng. Ammar (Abo Rawash Branch) for his excellent communication with me during my last visit on Mon. 13/1/2014. Repair my car

dear M/M i am cpmplaining about the customer service of kia service center in abu rawa cairo Egypt i went to fix my new kia cerato 2010 at the service center twice to fix small problem in the break but they didnt make it during my car normal service 1000 km and 10000 km consider that i already informed them about it and it is small problem any normal technichian can solve this problem realy it is very starange even i called the customer care and they told me that they didnt have time available to fix it in same service which is very strange to tell you the truth i was planing to buy another car kia carens but i will think again becuase of this treatment.email sherifahaleem@***.com
