Waste of Time
Kforce called me about a position. I did a 20 minute phone interview and then they told me I had to come in for an interview in person.
I drove the 30 minutes from my house to do the interview. I have a finance degree and I currently make $18 and hour. They offered me a job at $15 an hour. When I declined the offer the lady proceeded to tell me that $15 an hour at full-time would add up to $40k a year ("just under my desired salary") Don't really see how that adds up.
I felt lied to and like they had no respect for my time or my degree. Wouldn't recommend these folks to other job seekers.

Threatning emails over job offers
It is the worst experience. They gave an verbal offer way below to what initially is promised, without even confirming it from the client.
After the verbal offer i still had to go through two more interviews with client. They threatned me that if i didn't accept offer for the reduced salary, they have other members willing to take up the offer. Worst experience ever.it doesnqt end here.
Once i rejected the final offer because I got a better opportunity, they said no kforce employee or account will ever work with me and thaqt the it world is small and they will make sure it will impact me in future. Moreover they called me unprofessional and they are just letting me know by threatning me.

I met Andrew at a job search group, and we had a lengthy conversation about my background and how he could help. Then, he said that he was going to email me more details about the positions available later that day.
I waited until midnight but didn't receive any email. So, I email him, and he apologizes, and he said that the would like to schedule a phone call to talk more. We set up a mutually convenient time and on the day of the call, I waited for him to call. Unfortunately, he did not call.
After 1 hour of waiting, I emailed him, and until today, he did not reply to my email. Thank you, Andrew, for giving me a lesson on choosing a staffing agency.

I intervied for multiple positions....was promised they were so different from other agencies and they will get you working and so on and so forth...PLEASE!!!! They contacted me and NEVER delivered.
The person I interviewed with NEVER bothered to follow back up regarding the alledge posotions available. DO NOT waste your time. They talk a good game but have NOTHING!!!
Don't think for a moment because you have degrees and a ton of experience you are going to make them have what they don't. Save your 50.00 swagger and game for a REAL company that can deliver!!!!!
They will re-take an offer if you attempt to negotiate your salary.
Kforce pulled my resume from Indeed. I had recently updated my resume and posted it as a means to keep the door open to new opportunities.
I was contacted for a positions with a 3rd party vendor in the Rev Cycle industry. I spoke with the first rep and I advised that I was not interested in a temp to hire positions since I am currently employed full time with great benefits. He then contacted a another rep which e-mailed and called me a multiple times. Out of courtesy I returned her call and I suddenly felt like I had to validate why I am happy where I am working now.
Not too long after Sierra Navarro contacted me in regards to another temp to hire position. This time it was directly with a medical center which I knew to have an excellent reputation. Additionally, it is really difficult to get your foot in the door... so I thought, this might be worth the risk.
I was asked to take a test and scored 98%. The test was taken over the phone which was a little difficult since there were some multiple choice, true or false, and match questions. Regardless I gave it my best and scored well.
Within the next day the hiring manager wanted to schedule an interview. At my current job I am required to give a week notice to use any vacation. Sierra insisted to schedule something right away so I let the manager select the date that best suited her and I had to work something out with my current employer.
However, I was turned off that Sierra request Manager References (only) just a few hours before the interview. I had professional references ready but not manager references so I had to pull some strings & I was able to get them for her before I walked into the interview.
The interview went great! By the next day I had a job offer which she had her assistant call me about. Before talking about wages the assistant was asking if I accept. I asked about the wage and she said Sierra and I had agreed on X amount which was only .49 cents more than I currently make. I was taken back because we had never discussed a salary and I felt that .49 cents was not incentive enough to leave a good situation for a temp to hire one. I pushed back asking for 20%, knowing that would never happen but I ask for more than what I was willing to accept.
Sierra called me talking about how she could offer me $2.00 more which I felt was great but I knew it was still under 10%. That 10% was my actual goal and she as .08 away. I tried to push back a little and she stated that she was already bending her back to offer me and the additional money was coming from her commission. Later I found out it was not $2.00 dollars that se was offering me but $x2.00, $1.19.
We both agreed to take the weekend to think about it. The following Monday I e-mailed her to let her know how grateful I am for the hard work she is putting into making this connection happened and that I was crossing my fingers for good news.
Soon after I missed a call from her assistant. I returned her call but she did not answer so I called Sierra. Sierra tells me that her assistant will call me back as soon as she is off the phone, that she is just about to step into a limousine.
I laughed inside because that was unnecessary information but still kept my professionalism and said, no problem, that's fine with me.
Her assistant calls me instantly to let me know they do not want to negotiate with me. They decided to re-take the offer and move towards a different direction. I advised her that if she would have told me that was their final offer I would have accepted (that's how negotiations work). Most people will try to negotiate and she advise Kforce does not negotiate. Deciding to re-take the offer because I tried to negotiate shows their lack of flexibility and is extremely unprofessional. She said, Kforce is flexible, I am sorry you feel that way.
At that point I asked her to remove my file from Kforce's system. I have no interest in ever doing business with them. Again she said, "I'm sorry you feel that way."
To think of it, Sierra failed to warn me about paying parking for my interview.. so I lost $9.00 plus 4hrs of sick time and a great opportunity because of their lack of negotiating skills and professionalism. It was a great learning opportunity but I don't think I would ever go through an agency again.
The company may work out for someone who is unemployed and desperate to get their foot in the door. But I'm lucky enough not to be in that position and I am counting my blessings at this moment.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
U been warned
One of the most unprofessional hiring staff I have ever encountered in my life. I have been working full time since 1970 and was never out of work until a corporate takeover last year, 2015.
I have NEVER been out of work before in my life.
I accepted and worked for KFORCE for 2+ weeks and was hired for what I believed was a 6 month project doing business.
After 2 1/2 weeks, I received a call at 6:30 at night NOT to report to work the next day. That's it. No explanation, no forewarning, nothing.
They just call you the NIGHT before and tell you that you are done. This is their MO. Here's the kicker......I turned down a $30.00/hr REAL JOB at 4:00 pm, then they call me at 6:30 pm to say I am fired/laid off? Scabs!!!!
Had I known, I would have accepted the REAL JOB!!!! Two days later, I have left 2 voicemails and and email asking WHY was I let go.... Nothing. The guy I dealt with at KForce didn't even have the balls to call me himself that night.
He had some lady I don't know call me. Still waiting to hear from KForce what happened.
Plus, they owe me money, I did work for them.... Scabs, that is all I can say.

I have been waiting over a month to be placed on a job that should have started weeks ago. I have been emailing back and forth with SO MANY DIFFERENT PEOPLE.
They're the most annoying, and unprofessional people. I have asked so many times for them to help me or respond to me. I lost my job and I relied on them because they made me feel secure of a job, and I'm lucky to have found some other offers, but I feel for the other people that were lied to and given false hope. In between Luis Reyes, Sandy Morgan and Amy Scott I see this company going down hill...
just like Express Employment Professionals. Two companies to not trust.
