Waste of Time

Kforce called me about a position. I did a 20 minute phone interview and then they told me I had to come in for an interview in person.

I drove the 30 minutes from my house to do the interview. I have a finance degree and I currently make $18 and hour. They offered me a job at $15 an hour. When I declined the offer the lady proceeded to tell me that $15 an hour at full-time would add up to $40k a year ("just under my desired salary") Don't really see how that adds up.

I felt lied to and like they had no respect for my time or my degree. Wouldn't recommend these folks to other job seekers.

Kforce - Recruitment Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Worst company to work for. Never have had an experience with so much chaos and unprofessionalism. Since day one of being hired they never provided the proper information for logins and such of how I would get paid. Same goes for the benefits as well. They finally started returning my calls a few days before it would be too late to even enroll in benefits. The K-Pay site is down often and does not seem compatible with really any browser. My pay is different each pay check when I have worked the same hours each week. Nobody communicates with each other in the office making it difficult when calling to explain everything to them over and over again. They say they want to "help" make your experience good with them. But their actions show otherwise. Do not work for this company. Something seems very upside with this company.

Kforce - Recruiter Review

I went to their staffing agency in nyc so they can help me find a job. I met with one of the recruiters at their office and after a lengthy conversation about my background, he told me that he will keep his eyes open for a position for me and if I had any questions I can email him. It turns out I did have questions , so I emailed him but to this day he hasn't answered any of my emails. Don't waste your time with this staffing agency!

Threatning emails over job offers

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

It is the worst experience. They gave an verbal offer way below to what initially is promised, without even confirming it from the client.

After the verbal offer i still had to go through two more interviews with client. They threatned me that if i didn't accept offer for the reduced salary, they have other members willing to take up the offer. Worst experience ever.it doesnqt end here.

Once i rejected the final offer because I got a better opportunity, they said no kforce employee or account will ever work with me and thaqt the it world is small and they will make sure it will impact me in future. Moreover they called me unprofessional and they are just letting me know by threatning me.

I met Andrew at a job search group, and we had a lengthy conversation about my background and how he could help. Then, he said that he was going to email me more details about the positions available later that day.

I waited until midnight but didn't receive any email. So, I email him, and he apologizes, and he said that the would like to schedule a phone call to talk more. We set up a mutually convenient time and on the day of the call, I waited for him to call. Unfortunately, he did not call.

After 1 hour of waiting, I emailed him, and until today, he did not reply to my email. Thank you, Andrew, for giving me a lesson on choosing a staffing agency.

They are a bunch of crooks. I worked for them, I was doing a bunch of overtime and they waited until I left for another job to say that I owed them money, knowing full well I had no access to the system that the company I worked for with them and thus no way to dispute what they said as inaccurate. They are borderline criminals.

Misleading and Incompetent

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I applied for a job as an administrative assistant at a local university that was being staffed through KForce. I generally try to avoid applying to positions via staffing companies because in my experience if you don't tick all the boxes of the position you won't get a call back. A few days after submitting my application I recieved a call from one of their recruiters who informs me that the university in question was already deep into it's selection process and that I did not fit the criteria for being considered. The posting I applied to was only 10 hours old when I submitted my application. The recruiter then tried to discuss my resume with me but apparently couldn't comprehend the fact that the internships and externships that I did while I was in school were not paid jobs in any way, shape or form. Even after making it clear to her that the "job" she was trying to discuss was merely an internship she still kept trying to get me to agree with her that it was not only a paying job but that it was my most recent job despite the fact I am currently employed. Additionally, she struggled with the fact that I was only looking for full time/permanent positions not part time, contract work or temp to hire. She offered to keep my resume on file in case they found a position for me elsewhere but given that she couldn't understand my resume, my job aspirations or the skills and experience I bring to the table I don't think I'll be hearing back. Probably a good thing. I should have told her to remove my resume from their records and not to contact me again.

Kforce the Employment MAFIA??

I applied for a job Kforce had listed, but they job was also listed independently on the internet, anyway, that Kforce Mgr in Houston TX, said to me" You are NOT ALLOWED to contact that company, only I WILL CONTACT THEM. I did send a fax to Kforce to let them know, that they are the Employment MAFIA, that is the way she acted, I am disgusted, I don't want anything to do with them, they are mentally very sick. Anyone has the RIGHT TO APPLY ANYWHERE THEY WANT. Kforce has NO RIGHT TO TELL ANYONE WHAT TO DO. I never worked for them, I applied at a Company in Houston TX, their Mgr thought she can control my life, very very sick person.

They will re-take an offer if you attempt to negotiate your salary.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Kforce pulled my resume from Indeed. I had recently updated my resume and posted it as a means to keep the door open to new opportunities.

I was contacted for a positions with a 3rd party vendor in the Rev Cycle industry. I spoke with the first rep and I advised that I was not interested in a temp to hire positions since I am currently employed full time with great benefits. He then contacted a another rep which e-mailed and called me a multiple times. Out of courtesy I returned her call and I suddenly felt like I had to validate why I am happy where I am working now.

Not too long after Sierra Navarro contacted me in regards to another temp to hire position. This time it was directly with a medical center which I knew to have an excellent reputation. Additionally, it is really difficult to get your foot in the door... so I thought, this might be worth the risk.

I was asked to take a test and scored 98%. The test was taken over the phone which was a little difficult since there were some multiple choice, true or false, and match questions. Regardless I gave it my best and scored well.

Within the next day the hiring manager wanted to schedule an interview. At my current job I am required to give a week notice to use any vacation. Sierra insisted to schedule something right away so I let the manager select the date that best suited her and I had to work something out with my current employer.

However, I was turned off that Sierra request Manager References (only) just a few hours before the interview. I had professional references ready but not manager references so I had to pull some strings & I was able to get them for her before I walked into the interview.

The interview went great! By the next day I had a job offer which she had her assistant call me about. Before talking about wages the assistant was asking if I accept. I asked about the wage and she said Sierra and I had agreed on X amount which was only .49 cents more than I currently make. I was taken back because we had never discussed a salary and I felt that .49 cents was not incentive enough to leave a good situation for a temp to hire one. I pushed back asking for 20%, knowing that would never happen but I ask for more than what I was willing to accept.

Sierra called me talking about how she could offer me $2.00 more which I felt was great but I knew it was still under 10%. That 10% was my actual goal and she as .08 away. I tried to push back a little and she stated that she was already bending her back to offer me and the additional money was coming from her commission. Later I found out it was not $2.00 dollars that se was offering me but $x2.00, $1.19.

We both agreed to take the weekend to think about it. The following Monday I e-mailed her to let her know how grateful I am for the hard work she is putting into making this connection happened and that I was crossing my fingers for good news.

Soon after I missed a call from her assistant. I returned her call but she did not answer so I called Sierra. Sierra tells me that her assistant will call me back as soon as she is off the phone, that she is just about to step into a limousine.

I laughed inside because that was unnecessary information but still kept my professionalism and said, no problem, that's fine with me.

Her assistant calls me instantly to let me know they do not want to negotiate with me. They decided to re-take the offer and move towards a different direction. I advised her that if she would have told me that was their final offer I would have accepted (that's how negotiations work). Most people will try to negotiate and she advise Kforce does not negotiate. Deciding to re-take the offer because I tried to negotiate shows their lack of flexibility and is extremely unprofessional. She said, Kforce is flexible, I am sorry you feel that way.

At that point I asked her to remove my file from Kforce's system. I have no interest in ever doing business with them. Again she said, "I'm sorry you feel that way."

To think of it, Sierra failed to warn me about paying parking for my interview.. so I lost $9.00 plus 4hrs of sick time and a great opportunity because of their lack of negotiating skills and professionalism. It was a great learning opportunity but I don't think I would ever go through an agency again.

The company may work out for someone who is unemployed and desperate to get their foot in the door. But I'm lucky enough not to be in that position and I am counting my blessings at this moment.

U been warned

One of the most unprofessional hiring staff I have ever encountered in my life. I have been working full time since 1970 and was never out of work until a corporate takeover last year, 2015.

I have NEVER been out of work before in my life.

I accepted and worked for KFORCE for 2+ weeks and was hired for what I believed was a 6 month project doing business.

After 2 1/2 weeks, I received a call at 6:30 at night NOT to report to work the next day. That's it. No explanation, no forewarning, nothing.

They just call you the NIGHT before and tell you that you are done. This is their MO. Here's the kicker......I turned down a $30.00/hr REAL JOB at 4:00 pm, then they call me at 6:30 pm to say I am fired/laid off? Scabs!!!!

Had I known, I would have accepted the REAL JOB!!!! Two days later, I have left 2 voicemails and and email asking WHY was I let go.... Nothing. The guy I dealt with at KForce didn't even have the balls to call me himself that night.

He had some lady I don't know call me. Still waiting to hear from KForce what happened.

Plus, they owe me money, I did work for them.... Scabs, that is all I can say.

I once had one of their recruiters contact me via e-mail about a resume I had posted on CareerBuilder. She wanted a copy of my 'current' resume. I e-mailed her back that the CareerBuilder resume was actually current.

Imagine my consternation when she replied back, asking AGAIN for my 'current resume'!

I replied one more time that she really should take the time to READ an e-mail before replying to it.

Oops, I meant to say have been working since 1990s, not 1970. Typo!

Kforce violates the Americans with Disabilities Act and Arizona Medical Marijuana Act, i was offered employment by a prospective employer who then retracted the offer because i tested positive for marijuana even though i have aLegal Medical Marijuana card. They further adeed insult to injury by asking why I did not inform them of this prior to employment which is another violation.

I hope you sue. My niece in college was prescribed marijuana, god forbid she tries to get a job after graduation.

It helps her calm down, study and helps her get better grades. IMO, better than taking some pill manufactured by a big pharma company!

Frankly, I am not surprised they broke the law. I do not believe the ALL MALE hiring staff have a clue about ADA or otherwise.

They did not strike me as the sharpest tools in the shed.

They have been getting rid of the women in Hartford, CT and replacing them with men, who normally have no communication or professional behavior. I am not men bashing, just letting you know what is going on in Connecticut.

I have been waiting over a month to be placed on a job that should have started weeks ago. I have been emailing back and forth with SO MANY DIFFERENT PEOPLE.

They're the most annoying, and unprofessional people. I have asked so many times for them to help me or respond to me. I lost my job and I relied on them because they made me feel secure of a job, and I'm lucky to have found some other offers, but I feel for the other people that were lied to and given false hope. In between Luis Reyes, Sandy Morgan and Amy Scott I see this company going down hill...

just like Express Employment Professionals. Two companies to not trust.
