Kevin Salem Dog Trainer

This guy destroys dogs! I had adopted a dog that the previous owner was unable to take her over-seas.

This owner paid allot of money for Kevin to train and rehome her along with any future training that would arise. Kevin told me on the phone that the dog was completely trained by him and is great on and off the leash. WELL....... this poor dog was so scared of everything, the poor thing couldn't even walk down the street like a normal happy girl.

Instead she was so scared of everything including being petted. While I was at Kevin's house I noticed him being very harsh to a dog that wasn't doing anything wrong! No way ever again will I believe this guy.

He takes a nice dog and kills their spirit in order to make himself important. Strange and abusive person.

We arranged to send our dog to bootcamp, but changed our minds. I had mailed the required $500 deposit, which he cashed immediately.

When I asked for a refund, he refused and said he held our slot open; however, he had left a phone message saying he had "openings" (plural). I kindly asked for a refund again, with no response. I told him I would take him to small claims court, if necessary, and he replied, "do what you have to do." I wouldn't trust him with an insect let alone a dog. In researching him further, I have learned there are several other people who have had negative experiences.

We have two pitbulls who are rescue dogs. One of them has been to multiple trainers.

The problem is that he was bred to be a fighting dog, and was rescued as a newborn puppy. We took him to two different trainers, the first one said she couldn't handle him. The second said he could train our dog, but he couldn't. Then our dog killed our cat.

Not knowing what to do, we went to our vet who recommended killing the dog. A friend recommended kevin salem. Kevin said it would take two weeks to train the dog and gave us a price. Six weeks later kevin said our dog was trained.

We only paid the agreed upon price. It is now 4 years later. Our dog is obedient, and affectionate. He ignores our other cat.

The two dogs and the cat typically will be together In the living room. To us, Kevin Salem walks on water.

We don't know what Kevin did to our dog. We do know he saved his life. We saw what the second trainer we tried did to our dog.

It wasn't pleasant, but it didn't work. We are pretty sure our dog went through a difficult experience with Kevin. The bottom line is that our dog is alive, and is happy, and loved.

It is like going to a hospital for surgery. The process is grisly and a percentage of people do not survive.But most people are better off.

Kevin killed our dog and will not give back our money. We went to pick it up from his house and its neck was broken.

He said he is not responsible and threatened to kill my wife when she went to the police after calling her a "***." I hit him in the face and then he told me he would kill me too. Since that time, about two months ago, he has been regularly parked outside our house at night. We looked online and saw other people with similar complaints about this guy.

If you love your dog and do not want it to die PLEASE DO NOT USE KEVIN SALEM. There are a lot of dog trainers.

In checking backgrounds (recommendations) on Kevin Salem and David Baron for the purpose of dog training - I found - there appears to be a vendetta between them where reputations are being damaged. I was going to go with Kevin until he treated me rudely when subject was approached.

They (whoever) are wrecking their businesses on the internet web information being distributed. Can not talk to either without being suspected of being sent by the other.

Unfortunate as private references were excellent - Kevins personal suspicious are lacking. No matter how good of a trainer - his over inflated ego will lose him clients.

Kevin Salem aka Kevin Salem, Kawian R. Salem has been ordered by the Superior Court in Sacramento to no board dogs without a license. He has no license to board dogs and violates an Injunction against him by Judge Eugene Balanon in September 2006 every time he accepts a new client and boards their dog.

Every customer who has had their dog boarded by Kevin Salem since September 2006 may have been defrauded and potentially entitled to a full refund if Mr. Salem did not advise them that he was operating illegally.

Kevin salam abused my dog my dog acts scared like he had a nerves break down.He is scared of everone now like someones gonna hit him. This man kevin belongs in jail someone needs to report him to animal cotrol.

Shame on you You'll get judged one day by someone more important highter up.Kevin does not treat the dogs well when he thnks someones watching *** be nice to your dog.When he has your dog alone he's a monster.

He will smack kick and punch your dog.If you love your animal you won't take him to kevin .You can see how he curses bad words to his other review. This man has a nasty temper.Keep your dog safe and go to another trainer.
