Junk Dash csm

I literally got 6 weeks out of it and its missing recordings and probably was since I installed it. Starts up on its own in the middle of the night in my garage so I end up with a lot of black screen files and then after a trip it might catch one or two files but the majority of the files wont be there. Tried to upgrade the simm card with one thats well within Kenwoods specs and that failed. Then the customer service wasnt there at all. Never again will I buy a Kenwood product

User's recommendation: Build a better product, stand behind it if you cant.

Cooker hob stained

Kenwood - Cooker hob stained
Used the electric job maybe 4 times and even brought new pots and pans but the hob has stained and Im Not happy at all shouldnt do this or should still have warranty and would like a replacement or different cooker I will be taking this matter a lot further

Company is a joke

They are a third party seller. Once they have your money they don't care when you get it, if it fits or if it is what you ACTUALLY ordered. Played games for months, find another place to buy because these "kids" play games with your money! They didn't't even ship the first order and did not even contact me then just refunded months later. Even gave them another shot as after they offered a measly 10.00 discount they told me they would upgrade the stereo. Well, the new one did not have even the capability of the older one and they scheduled for a return without my permission to spite me on Christmas. They couldn't seem to decide/figure out if their product was steering wheel control compatible and I could not get an answer from them as they don't have a telephone number and don't answer the questions you as in your messages. Nate is very knieving and he thinks if he types a certain way he will come out looking like the better person. Guess what facts don't lie and I hope ebay fixes their wagon good.

kenwood is a manufacture of the kenwood product not a third party shipper..when will people learn you dont buy online .. jokers will screw you ...support your local small business in your area ...

Kenwood customer service is unknowledgeable and Rude!

Kenwood used to have great customer service. They knew how to help you with your operation until about a year ago when they moved to Florida. They call them selves technicians but they really don't know the products. They put you on endless hold while they go read a manual. When they come back on the phone they give you information that does not work. I asked for a manager. The manager was of little help and when I ridiculed his operation compared to what it was a year ago, he terminated the call. I called California and could tell this Manager could care less. Their excuse: My unit is too old .. Wow. Quite an excuse for incompetence. When this unit needs replacement, it will not be a Kenwood. I refuse to support a company that does not back up their product services in a professional manner. Perhaps they need to rehire their employees that knew their job and cared!

Kenwood audio products are junk

I bought a Kenwood DDX470 car audio unit for $350.00 in December of 2013. My battery died in the car and when the battery was recharged, the unit still did not work. The reset was not functional and I contacted Kenwood. They told me they only have to repair facilities in America. One was California and the other is New York. Minimum repair is $175.00. Better to go with another manufacturer which I did. Their customer service is atrocious and they couldn't care less about helping you. I would never buy anything from them in the future and will tell al my friends and family.

Misleading

I purchased a Kenwood KDC-BT555U because as per their website had the features I wanted. Blue Tooth Audio Streaming and SiriuXM with Artist/Song Alert. http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/In-Dash_CD_Receivers/1-DIN_CD_Receiver/KDC-BT555U . I received my new head unit and install it in my vehicle. I test out my SiriusXM and hear one of my favorite artist. I wanted to save it under Artist Alert, but I couldn't find out how to do it. So I grab the manual and there wasn't anything in the manual about it. I email tech support and they state to me that what this Head Unit supports is under page 9 of the manual. Page 9 of the manual says nothing about Artist/Song alert. I fire off a second email telling them that their product description is misleading. I receive this email reply. "I do apologize but the description is explaining the SXV200 not what the radio can do. Under the KDC-BT555U “General Features” this is where it would show a “yes” if it had SiriusXm Replay. I understand how it may have come across but the description was about the SiriusXm adaptor not the radio. If this was a feature you wanted only our higher end units such as the double din DNX890HD, DNN990HD offer this." This is how I replied "Your website clearly states that this radio is capable of Artist/Song/Sports Alerts which is a feature of SiriusXM SXV200. The model "DNX890HD or DNN990HD" which a Kenwood rep stated both support this "feature". The Amazing thing is that these models do not support SiriusXM. So how would it support Artist/Song/Sport Alert when it doesn't support SiriusXM. Then also tells to me that the BT555U doesn't support Replay and that I should check under the "General Features" to see if it supports "Replay". Under "General Features" it doesn't state one way or another, but this unit supports replay just like several other single din radios. Your product page is misleading plan and simple. Your support team does not know their products well enough to give the proper information." Here is what it states on the product page under "Overview" "SiriusXM Ready – Connect, control and enjoy satellite radio from SiriusXM, including new SiriusXM XTRA Channels (USA only) with a single direct connection to a compatible CD receiver with optional SiriusXM tuner SXV200. Compatible 2013 CD receivers can also take advantage of the SXV200 advanced features such as Smart Favorites™, artist/song/game alerts, iTunes tagging or SiriusXM Replay™"

Kenwood products and Kenwood appliances Singapore. Avoid at all costs

Having possessed one of the old generation Kenwood mixers bought in the eighties (still made in the UK at that time!), when my old mixer exhaled the last breath I've decided to buy a new one from Kenwood. The first huge mistake of an unfortunate series; I will explain why. Looking back, I should have listened to my "home bakers" friends' advices to stay clear from the new Kenwood mixers, and base my choice on their very positive experience with Kitchenaid. Instead, after some consideration I decided to give Kenwood a try, still impressed by the excellent performances and durability of my old generation mixer. So I've decided to go for their premium Titanium Major, quite expensive but apparently the top of their range. At the same time, I've also bought a bread maker for my sister (BM450) and a premium blender of their Kmix line. Results: The mixer worked nicely for a week, then a strange noise came from the body and in a minute it stopped working altogether. Having been a loyal Kenwood user for years, I went to their service centre, which now is located in Marymount area. I was shocked by the rudeness of the service staff, as compared to their previous staff when the service centre was still at Paya Lebar. In short I was told with brisk manners that a new set could not break up and they tried to refuse to service it! After insisting, I obtained to leave the set there for further checks and they promised to call me back in a week. Needless to say, after two weeks I had received no calls. When I then called them, they said the gearbox was spoilt (??) and said they didn't have the spare part to fix it. I had to wait more. To cut the story short, my unit was held for over two months and finally I could collect it. Once back home, I noticed several scratches and a bad general condition of my unit, so I realized they had probably swapped it with a refurbished set. Once switched on, it was noisy and wobbling and shaking. It is almost unusable to mix the dough without falling from the table, whereas my old Kenwood mixer worked perfectly. A huge disappointment altogether. I will surely get myself a Kitchenaid as soon as possible!!! Regarding the bread maker, it seem quite a sleek and nice model, but again it soon started to have problems with the programs buttons. This time my brother in law brought it to the service centre and...guess what? Again no spare parts. The unit has been held for weeks! Finally, the premium kmix blended...very nice but it didn't even switch on the first time!!!!!!! At the service centre they identified the problem as false contact of the interlock switch located in the lid and fixed it in 3 weeks. Balance: 3 products out of 3 faulty. Horrible experience at the service centre. Meanwhile, my friends were still happily using their Kitchenaid mixers for baking! So do stay away from Kenwood and from Kenwood Singapore especially!
