Avoid KentuckyBarrels.com

For our wedding registry, we requested a bourbon barrel from KentuckyBarrels.com to use as a rain barrel on our patio. My mother-in-law was kind enough to go pick it up. The one she was given was dirty and full of some kind of foul-smelling sludge. It had been used for beer after bourbon. When she asked for one that had been used for bourbon only, she was treated disrespectfully by the manager and told that her money would be refunded minus $25.00 "for loading". There is no loading charge listed on their website. Check out their "terms and conditions" on the website: http://www.kentuckybarrels.com/terms.html Nothing on there about assuring customer satisfaction.

All bad news for these guys at kentuckybarrels.com. just seems they just keep falling coming short of being a good company.

I tried dealing with KentuckyBarrels and got the worse customer service EVER. DO NOT and I REPEAT do not use them unless you want unproffesional service and dirty barrels.

Interesting review. I tried calling this company twice - got voice mail and no one called back.

Sent email per their request for a shipping quote - again, no response.

These are red flags as far as I am concerned and while I would have liked to have had 4 of their plastic barrels, I won't pursue this order further. BBB gives them an F.

Customer was given a choice of what barrels she wanted. She chose the barrel, it was loaded and she drove off.

Customer came back and wanted to return the barrel.

Company terms says no refunds, however a refund was given minus a small restocking fee. Kentucky Barrels strives to please all customers.

Note: the comments posted by KentuckyBarrels.com staff do not address the disrespectful treatment of their customer.

It is true that you cannot please everyone, but if you expect to have a healthy business it is best to try.
