Leaking Kenetrek boots

I bought a pair of Kenetrek hunting boots for $400. The boots are advertised to have a waterproof liner.
The boots leaked badly after 1 week of use. I sent them back to the company and they denied that the liner leaked and did not warranty them. The company put wax or silicone on the leather so that the leather would not leak temporarily but this is a temporary fix that does not address the leaking liner.
The responses I received from the company when talking about this issue were basically denials that the product failed. I do not recommend Kenetrek.
