Bad business

I requested a survey for my property in June 2016 via the company's website. I received a response that the company received my request and would get back to me with a time and date that my survey would be completed. Approximately 2 weeks after my request, I received a phone call from Mr. Kelly informing me that his guys were in my area and the job could be done, but he needed me to first text my charge card information and the code on the back of my card to him. I told him that I was at work and cannot conduct business at this time. After thinking about what just happened, I called him back and asked him to send me an invoice before I give him any of my charge information. He said that he would email the invoice when he gets back to the office. It has been 2 to 3 weeks and I have not received an invoice from this company as of yet. I have not called or even contacted Kelly Survey after my last conversation with Mr. Kelly. I have done business with many companies in the past, but this is the first time that I have encountered a company that requests payment without a contract or an invoice. This is not a good business practice and I will never do business with this company.

We are sorry things didn’t go the way this client would have liked. This order was for a small residential survey ordered on the busiest month of the year.

We can instantly email invoices with convenient links for payment. We have been in business providing high quality Professional Land Surveying services for over 40 years.

We have successfully completed over 100,000 survey engagements. It is odd that the two complaints posted on this website are from people for whom we never did any surveying work.

Steve Kelly is unprofessional and doesn't follow through with survey requests

Steve Kelly, surveyor, is very unprofessional. It took >3 weeks and several emails/phone calls to make any progress on our job. I was repeatedly told he was "looking into it" but Steve Kelly never seemed to make any progress,despite my providing him with all the details for the town records. The survey was cancelled the morning the job was going be performed. The next day (unfortunately), he had medical issues but cancelled the job completely. Because no surveyors were taking on new jobs, I emailed and then called to enquire if he could proceed at a later date once his health concerns improved. During our telephone conversation, despite my respect for his health, Steve Kelly showed no responsibility for my situation. On the telephone he became angry, said he wouldn't do the job despite admitting to still working and hung up. I would not trust nor recommend his services to anyone. He is unreliable and unwilling to work with customers to a mutually beneficial outcome. Very disappointing!

This review of Kelly Survey is not true. This person placed a non contractual order through our website.

We never received any money for this job. So her claim if losing $900 is untrue.

I had a heart attack and when I was hospitalized I called her and gave her the name and number of another surveyor. She later told me that the surveyor I referred her to gave her the names of 6 other surveyors and continued to call me.

This whole incident was shocking to us considering that this person is a doctor and should know better.
