Refurbished smoke damaged mirror

I dropped off a mirror on March 3,2018. Keith told me no problem he can fix it and it wouldn’t cost me much and it wouldn’t be a problem.

He beat around the bush about why it wasn’t getting finished. This mirror was for my daughters nursery. I didn’t buy anything for this particular wall because I was expecting to put this mirror there. On March 31st after numerous phone calls my fiancé called him and said he was going to pick up the mirror.

Keith said it still wasn’t finished and that he was going to finish it himself. A few hours later Keith called my fiancé back and said the mirror is too damaged to fix.

He waited an entire month to let me know that it was unable to be fixed. Terrible communication and service.

I was trying to do you a favor! After explaining to you that I didn't do outside work for customers.

I cleaned the mirror and the fact that it was made of resin and in a fire the fumes were TOXIC! So if you wanted to put that in your nursery it would be dangerous! You try to do someone a favor and this is their response. SHAME ON YOU!

Hence the reason I don't refinsh for customers. Thank you

I consigned with this business and had a good experience. I signed a contract from the beginning agreeing to receive 50% of the sale price which I knew that after 90 days of being in the showroom the selling price would go down in order to move it.

I am pleased with the way that the entire transaction (from the time it was picked up for my property to the time that items sold). If I had an alternative way to sell the items myself for 100% of the profit of course I would've done so, however, I was not in a position to do so please. With that being said, I am grateful that this service provider was able to pick up, store and sell my items. This is a business who is providing a service service and that comes with a price.

I would not do anything differently if I had a similar need again. Thank you Keith!

Consigning Furniture at Keith's

People who put items on consignment are using a service to sell their items. Keith's Classic Furniture provides a contract that is explained and signed by the consignor.

Now if the item doesn't sell in 90 days, the consignor has the right to pick up their items. If the items are not picked up they will be reduced and they keep getting reduced over a period of time in order to sell them! It is the consigners responsibility to stay in touch with the company.

This place of business has been around for over forty years based on honesty and integrity. Thank you!

DISGRACE of a STORE

I would not even give them my used broom to sell.

He takes your items and sells them and tells you he sells them for much less and then gives you 50% of the lower amount.

He never shows you actual receipts as to what he sold items for.

And when he owes you money for items, he is NEVER around to pay up.

THIS PLACE IS A REAL SCAM!!!!!

STAY AWAY!!!

Not sure what else to say to make buyer/seller BEWARE--just avoid this place!

Now I understand he packed up and moved once again out of the area. I'm sure to avoid paying his debts!

First of all you are sadly wrong about this place of business! People who put items on consignment, are using a service to sell their items.

I don't agree with your comment! When you consign furniture with Keith's Classic Furniture you have an actual contract.

If the merchandise is in the store for over 90 days then the price gets reduced to try to sell. Everything is written down.

There are no scams going on. That is why he has been in business for over 40 years!

Shop at Keith's Classic Furniture

I love this store. My whole house is furnished from Keith's! Great store, great prices !! The salesmen are very helpful. I actually have never had a problem shopping there. The store has a very relaxed atmosphere.

If you are looking for shabby chic furniture they have the most around. High quality finishes, I know they use non-toxic paints and varnishes that are safe for the environment because I have bought several pieces from Keith.

They also have the largest selection of mirrors and paintings. And I was in there the other day and they They are carrying Antiques and high end furniture. Great Place!!

This place is a disgrace! Never shop at Keith's!

Biggest nightmare ever! We were making settlement on our house on August 30th 2012..

We ordered all of our furniture through Keith who GUARENTEED it would all be delivered by September 30th all he asked for was a 1000$ deposit which we paid in cash upfront. He told us to come in the week before settlement to pay the balance but he would be on vacation but his delivery driver "bob" would Handle everything! So the week before we started calling. For 2 days we got no answer..

Finally we got in touch with Bob who knew nothing about our furniture that he was suppose to be delivering that weekend but said he would try to contact Keith and call us back. Never heard from Bob the next morning so we called again he finally said I'm not delivering any furniture this weekend I have no order for furniture you will have to talk to keith when he returns Sat morning the 30th which was the morning of settlement! I called on the way to settlement and Keith said " listen I don't have your furniture I never ordered it come pick up your deposit you should of kept calling to keep in contact so I knew you still wanted it" apparently the friggen deposit wasn't enough for him to know that we still wanted it so the day we were moving in we had NO furniture because we ordered everything from a bedroom set to a family room set to a living room set to a kitchen set from Keith which we got none of!

He does horrible business and blamed us for not harassing him when he had 1000 dollars of our money! I HIGHLY recommend never doing business with this *** scam artist!

Keith’s was not making the furniture. If the distributor never got in the order you can’t blame the middle man!

I think you are wrong about Keith's my experience was totally different.He went out of his way to help us. He delivered our merchandise when he said he would. We were 100% satisfied and will shop there in the future.

Keith's Classic Furniture - Do NOT shop there

Bought beautiful furniture, took over 3 months of harrassing phone calls to get the furniture delivered. Would not recommend anyone do business with them.

Sales men are full of hot air and broken promises, yadda, yadda! For your own sanity shop someplace else. At first I was told that the delivery guy quit unexpectedly (no wonder working with these guys), then I was told the furniture had to be located, then I was told it had to be manufactured. ***, I could have driven to Virginia and personally picked and the furniture quicker than these guys delivered.

Every time I would call or go to the store there was a new excuse or reason for not having the furniture.

Just plain old BS. THEY ARE MOVING TO TURNERSVILLE, NJ....SHOPPERS BEWARE!!!

I've been doing business with Keith for over 15 years. Keith is a stand up businessman.

My wife and I love this store. When we came across a minor problem he went out of his way to fix it.

He delivered our merchandise and we were 100% satisfied. Would highly recommend.
