2023 Calligraphy Purchase

Our Salesman Peter was fantastic and very communicative and helpful. Unfortunately with current market there was no negotiation but that was not salesman's fault. The F&I guy on the other hand was a P.O.S. Despite using their Financing Application to get the best rate possible upon arriving and sitting with F&I guy he attempted to charge 7.99% for well over 800 credit score, Hyundai offering 6.29% on website! Absolute disgrace and waste of time...sat in F&I office applying online to multiple banks for loans. He was able to go back and get 6.14 from Wells Fargo so I took it so I can walk out with Car. Current market interest is +/- 5.5% so will be refinancing in 30days when I get my first statement. F&I is absolute disgrace! GET YOUR OWN FINANCING and do not use this P.O.S. User's recommendation: Get your own Financing...theirs is a P.O.S.!

Car sold to another buyer as title paperwork was being done

RUN!! The most unprofessional dealership. I was working with a sales Rep Andrew. I provided a written offer on a vehicle on 1/12 in the afternoon. I initiated the loan with our bank and send over a copy of my DL that was requested. The sales rep then told me he was working on the title paperwork. Then the morning of 1/13, we were informed the car had been sold. WHAT? Then proceeded to tell us if we find another vehicle to let him know. That will be a huge no thank you. How can they even be trusted?

User's recommendation: Shop elsewhere.

Horrible customer serrvice

I bought a 2014 Sonata with 45K miles from them. We're happy with the car, but are frustrated that we've been dealing with a faulty tire sensor since the test drive. We were initially told that the tires had been inflated and the warning light would disappear once we hit the road. When we reported that the warning light was a sensor issue because it didn't go away, our sales representative, Andrew advised that they would take care of the issue and that we would receive a call from the service department to schedule. The phone call never came, so I visited the dealership today. From the moment I tried to schedule an appointment with the service advisor, I've never experienced such awful customer service. The service advisor wouldn't help me without approval from the sales team, but when our sales representative attempted to get approval for the work from his sales manager (the most condescending individual around. Talk about your stereotypical used car salesman), I was informed that despite our sales representative informing us that they would address the repair, the vehicle was actually "as is" and they wouldn't help because they didn't have any money in the deal to do so. I cannot believe that they would not do the right thing to address a SAFETY issue that was present from the offset, especially one of such minimal cost to them. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. I have never been treated so poorly by a company in the "service industry", especially that smarmy sales manager. It's not right that they do business in this manner. They should not be able to get away with this. Hopefully this review causes at least one person to take their business elsewhere. User's recommendation: Take your business elsewhere

Liars and Thieves

This dealership will go to extreme lengths to charge you way above sticker price on a new vehicle, and will do their absolute best to convince you that they're actually doing you a favor and cutting you the best deal. They have no regard for you or anything you may have going on in your life, they only care about squeezing as much money as they possibly can out of any customer who is unlucky enough to do business with them. And then once you reluctantly buy the car you got such a horrible deal on, they refuse to fix the serious electrical problems that arise within the first month of owning the vehicle. Filing a lawsuit is time consuming, but my lawyer told me he is not surprised at all that Keffer Hyundai does bad business, he's had many issues with them, if that tells you anything. I reached out to Keffer to give them a chance to make things right, and they chose to ignore me. Never before (except for select politicians and news media) have I seen someone behave so sincere and act so caring while simultaneously lying to your face and attempting to charge you for all you're worth. Friendly word of advice, heed this, whatever offer they give you SLEEP ON IT, and contact nearby local dealerships with the same car and see what they'll offer you. I PROMISE you the Keffer Hyundai offer is not going to be near as good. GO TO ANY OTHER HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP. They will offer you a better price, I promise. If you go outside of Charlotte, Modern Hyundai of Concord is excellent. Another word of advice, if they have any sort of promotion or discount, they will try to nullify it the best they can by adding charges on something else. Total bait and switch. GO ELSEWHERE. User's recommendation: Go anywhere else.
