Yesterday I went to the Jeep dealership on independence and saw a pair of new Jeep Rubicon 392s they had just gotten in. The price listed online with dealer discount was $87,000 and $89,000 respectively.

I began negotiations to purchase 1 of the Jeeps only to have the sales manager tell me that there was a $10000-$11000 "market adjustment" because the cars were hard to find and the Factory strike was limiting inventory. After pressing them about honoring the online prices (which I have screenshots for), they called me today saying they would remove the "market adjustment" and honor the online price. Then when I went to purchase the vehicle they added a Keffer value fee of $1900, and a safety fee f $1950. I advised them I was not interested in either fee and strictly wanted to purchase the car for the price online.

The manager got agitated and said he would not remove those fees even though they were not listed on the online price. 2 hours later the online price of both jeeps were increased by the exact amount of the 2 fees that they were trying to charge me and they would no longer honor the price from just 12 hours ago when the negotiations began. I have been advised to contact upper management (which after calling 3 other Keffer dealerships I have been unable to get a corporate contact for). I have also been advised to contact the NC attorney general to report this deceptive practice.

I am fully aware that dealers are free to add market adjustments and dealer added features. However not honoring the price of the vehicle online and trying to increase the price by $15,000 - $16,000 when you go to buy it is absolutely abhorrent and possibly illegal.

I will be seeing this through until the end. BEWARE!STAY AWAY

Soldiers BEWARE!!!!!!

My family and I traveled from Fort Bragg, 2.5 hours away, to see a 2015 Chevy Camaro I had initially saw on cars.com. I was unable to leave the Fort Bragg area before Mr. Myles left for the day, but he gave me the name of another sales person that would help me. The first sales person started out by playing sales games. He tried to make me believe that the price of the car was over $20,000. I showed him that the car was listed on several websites for $17,999 and I had confirmed that before driving from Fort Bragg. He went and got a sales manager that stated that price was for their, "loyal" customers that had purchased cars from them before. He said he would go ahead and let me have it for that price. I explained to him that I had spoken to Mr. Myles before traveling and was told It was the end of the month and they are willing to make deals. I told him I was a Soldier and traveled a long way after work to get a good deal. He was unwilling to budge on the online price. It was very late when I left the dealership, so I ended up paying for a hotel and driving home the next day. Mr. Myles called me the next day and had a different sales manager call me back with a better deal. He even had the car delivered to the Fort Bragg area for me. I had a minor issue with the car that Mr. Myles had the dealership repair. Now the bad experience: As a Soldier who has served 21 Years in the Military I have found it easier and cheaper to register my car in my home of record (Florida). It has been almost a month and the dealership has not sent my title information or money to Florida for my registration. My temporary tag expired 03 Nov 2017. My wife has parked her car until we receive a tag from Florida. I tried to contact the dealership on multiple occasions for help. They said they will contact me but never do. I received an email from Lori stating she needed my military orders and proof of insurance to send to the state of Florida. I called Angela in finance today and confirmed that I had already given her my all required documents. I called her back and only spoke to her after I told them I wanted to speak to someone in charge. she stated she has been very busy and has not spoken to Lori. I have expressed to her many times in the past that I was concerned that they were taking too long to send my title paperwork off. She stated that I cannot receive another temporary tag and there is nothing they can do for me. I have asked on many occasions to speak to a General Manager. When you call they will not let you speak to anyone in authority. Learn from my mistake my fellow Soldiers BEWARE!!!!!! I have left many reviews and have yet to receive a phone call.

I called to confirm the availability and price on a vehicle I had seen on autotrader. I called and confirmed the price with two different people before I came up to test drive. I fell in love with the car and was ready to buy. When given the final price sheet, the cars price was almost 2,000$ more (even without all the fees) than what the online price was that I had confirmed. When I asked what had changed they said that they had never even posted the add. BUT I had called and confirmed with TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE. This is ILLEGAL. When I raised concern I got AWFUL attitudes. very poor customer service.

KEFFER DOES BAD BUSINESS

Purchased my 2009 Dodge Journey with 32,000 miles. Within 2 weeks I had returned the car for jerking in the transmission. While left at the dealership being serviced, my new tires were switched and replaced with old tires. Keffer Dodge DID NOT and would NOT do anything about getting my new tires returned even after I produced pictures of the car when i first bought it showing the tires were new. After asking the Service Dept for a copy of my diagnostic report, they faxed me a copy that had someone else VIN # ON IT! Now 3 months later, I have had to replace the Antifreeze Reservoir, the thermostat went out and now the brakes. Keffer Dodge and Jeep does bad business. I sent a detailed letter to the General Manager of Keffer Dodge, and never receieved a return call. My finance company, to this date has never received a return call in regards to the LEMON CAR THEY SOLD ME. Someone needs to investigate this dealership and do it quick!

Will Not Fix the Problem

I have a 2010 Dodge Journey SXT 3.5. We had a recall done on our ignition switch some months ago or maybe a year ago. Ever since we had that fixed, our vehicle has been having major electrical problems. It happens all the time. I'll be driving down the road and all of a sudden the entire electrical system will shut off. The radio goes out, the air conditioner goes out, power windows, blinkers, break lights, all go out. I have gotten pulled over before because my blinker wasn't working at the time when I went to turn. I have videos of it on my cell phone and have taken it to Keffer Chrysler Jeep and Dodge in Charlotte, NC on East Independence Blvd. Now here is where my frustration lies. They will not do anything to the vehicle unless they can get it to duplicate itself for them. Even though I have the videos on my cell phone. I had a rental for two weeks while they tried to get it to duplicate itself. I don't know how much longer I can deal with this issue. It's becoming too complicated for us and I am afraid that it is going to cause a major accident or cause something major to happen to our vehicle while driving. This summer was really bad when it was a 105 degrees outside and we had the AC on and windows up and the power goes out and we can't even roll down the windows and I have 3 kids in the car. We were all sweating and hyperventilating. I don't know how many times this has happened to other 2010 Dodge Journeys, but this problem needs to be fixed immediately. I fear for my families safety in this vehicle due to the electrical system failure. Anything you all can do to get this problem resolved will be greatly appreciated. Thank You
