Lack of Service in the Service Dept

Jeep Wrangler 4XE are very fickle vehicles that do not work as intended in the New England climate. On a most recent service the oil change light was not turned of and I found out all 4 shocks were blown and defect and the vehicle would not pass it's safety inspection. Parts were to be ordered in a week, and I requested to be emailed as soon as that occured. A month later no email. Finally they confirmed they had the parts but it would be 10 days or longer to install them, even after waiting 5 weeks for my vehicle to be repaired by warranty. After several emailed Jeremiah the srvice manager has determined that my vehicle will not be fixed by the dealership after no effort has been made to them to fix it, nor would they confirm a date & time. The reason is that if you are not happy with a lack of service at this dealership you are not welcomed as a customer. The vehicle has 4 blow shocks since the 4XE Jeep was poorly enginerred and it will not pass safety inspection. For 5 weeks I've had to drive under this condition and zero effort to assist in anyway was made by the dealership. Very odd, but this is what this dealership seems to be about. Another note is that they suggest leases through ALLY which do not allow you to easily trade the vehicle in. Other leading dealerships in the Keene area would NEVER subject a customer to either of these problems. Conversely the sales department was always happy to research, address issue, and add value.

Buyer be where. Life time tires.

Bought a 2012 ram and was given a platinum card and promised lift time tires and brakes. Come time for tires they said that since they were the optional 20" tire they were not covered. We were not told this when we bought it. These were the tires that came with the truck. Neighbor also bought a truck same day and was also promised free tires for life he was told the same. This was a selling point when we bought the truck. Will never get any service work there ever just my free oil changes. Purchased tires from another dealer.

2005 Lemon they sold

Bought a beautiful 2005 Ford Explorer from this dealer. 10 Days after buying it intake manifold gasket goes bad. It then spent 3 weeks going back a forth about getting it fixed. This truck was sold with warranty. I specifcally asked Derrick Brown if we had problems how would this get dealt with, and I was told you would take it to your local dealer and once they got the diagnosis it would get fixed. I finally get this dealer to step up and pay to get my truck delt with and pick it up. I don’t even make it home check engine light comes on. I take it back to the Local Ford dealer and I am told the following day I need new catalytic converters from were the manifold dumped eveyrthing into the exhaust. So by this time the truck has spent more time in the shop than with me. KEENE DODGE tells Ford there is nothing else we can do and wash there hands of the Explorer that is still covered under there warranty. They didn’t even have the decency to call and discuss this with us. We asked if we could bring the Explorer back due to all the problems we have had with it and there lack of concern with getting it fixed in a timely matter. We were told no that is not an option, we would need to trade it back in and buy something else from them. So I have Used truck I havent made a payment on that I have to try and figure out how to get fixed. I even offered to split the cost of getting this delt with. NO, is there response. This cost was 1500.00 out of my pocket to get the explorer back on the road. This has been the worst experience we have had buying a vehicle from a so called reputable dealer I highly recommend CARMAX to any one looking to buy used, They stand behind what they sell… I BEG ANY ONE THINKING OF BUYING USED FROM THIS DEALER DON’T…

Keene Dodge - Service Department Review from Colorado Springs, Colorado

This is with a dealership. Keene Dodge in Jarrettsville, MD. This is the worst dealership for the service department. First I had a recall which was in October, called to schedule an appointment was told that the part was not in and they would call. Well I called again in January and was literally yelled at by the woman in the service department that they would call me when the part came in, well here it is June and I'm still waiting. Then my 2013 Dodge Dart service transmission light came on. Well I called on a Saturday around 3, I was told that someone would call me back, ok, so here we go again, I called back around 4:30 and guess what the service department closed at 3. Here it is Tuesday and I am still waiting for a return call. Then my 2006 Dodge Ram truck was having air condition issues, made a call at 3:30 and was told someone would call me back in just a few minutes, well needless to say I am still waiting. This is the worst place for service. Very disgusted.
