Update On KCM

Upon inquiring with other drivers that are leasing from and having repairs done at this repair facility I was informed that they are also doing repairs replacing parts with used parts and charging for new parts. There is fraud going on at this facility. Multiple truckers leasing trucks from KCM have filed complaints with the Illinois D.O.T. in regards to these practices. To ant trucker that owns his own truck. Do not get any repairs done at this facility. You will be taken for everything you have and they will damage your truck hoping that you will lease one from them which is junk. If you lease from them they will not fix the truck you lease and they will charge you for any damage on the truck even thought they are taking a 12 cent non refundable escrow for repairs. They are crooks.

Bad Tractor Trailer Repair Shop

Kcm Truck And Equipment Repair - Bad Tractor Trailer Repair Shop
Took my truck to this shop for repairs. They replaced a turbo and rebuilt a fan clutch on a truck. The repair on the fan clutch did not last one week. Had to drive the truck removing the fan belt till I got the truck back to this shop and sat for 3 days till they got to me and all they did was to put hydraulic fluid into the air line to swell up the seals. Over night it went bad again. I also had them replace the engine mounts and in the process they dropped the engine and caused damage to the engine pan which was replaced by a used one which is now leaking a gallon a week and also caused damage to the main harness from the engine ECM causing all kinds of sensor failure and engine components not working properly. I had to go to this shop again to have them rebuild the engine fan clutch and they charged me $200.00 for something they did not do right the first time. This is the third time for the engine fan clutch. In short I incurred slightly under $6000.00 in repairs and more have to be done due to the negligence of this shop and not to forget that the turbo they replaced went bad 8 months after the initial installation. Their idea of warranty was to fax a copy of the sales receipt to the authorized Detroit dealer and told him to take it up with Truck country in Morton Illinois which is where they got the turbo from. This is not warranting your work and parts. This is passing the buck. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and the owner of the establishment got arrogant with the BBB representative. Other truckers have complained about this repair shop and some have even suffered the same fate as I.
