Fraud Company

I had a man stating that he was raising money to go to acting school. I wrote a check to National Cash awards for a magazine for 2 years which cost me $50.00 he said that he would even walk my dog or mow my lawn.

The check was cashed and 6 months later nothing came. I tried to contact National Cash Awards but then i noticed the check was cashed under Kay's Natural,Inc. I am writing to say don't buy anything from these companies. If someone comes to your house i would only buy something if it is from a local school or local troop.

These 2 companies are complete frauds.....

I have done my research and know that there are 2 company's with that name. But there is a Kay's Natural Inc.

that is cashing our checks and is a fraudulant company that everyone needs to know about. Unfortunately they need to be charged so it doesn't destroy the good of the real company.

Guest

Please do a little more research on the company that you are talking about. Kay's Naturals Inc.

is a natural food business that helps millions of people across our country. The company that you are looking for is www.ournaturals.com

Kays Naturals, LLC never delivered my magazines

I purchased a subscription on 2/14/08 from a young man claiming he was home schooled and lived right around the corner from my home in Hacienda Heights, CA. He said he was trying to earn a trip.

The receipt I have does not list a contact # but does note that the person selling is clearing orders through Kays Naturals, LLC PO BOX 43888 Phoenix , AZ 85080 and not Kays Naturals, Inc. After 4 months of not receiving the first copy, I sent an e-mail to the website I found online but I never received a reply. When I purchased the subscription, I told the young man $54 was too expensive for me and he offered to pitch in part from donations he was given.

These type of people ruin it for for other kids who are honestly trying to earn something, I will never purchase anything from door sales people.

Scammed me

In Oct 2007 a young man named bill, fs#042 sold me a subscription to your magazine called Angels. I have only recieved only 2 copies, It is now May 16 2008!

this is pretty sad that Kays sends young people out to scam people... It needs to stop!

I think that anyone that has been scammed by this company and cannot get ahols of them or they do not recieve an e-mail and recieve comensation they need to call Better Buisness Bureau or go to their web site to report the scam. This is wrong and needs to stop.

Kays Naturals LLC

I bought a magazine subscription from someone earning money. It was $48.00 and I was told I would get $14.00 of it back when the check cleared.

It cleared immediately. That was 4 months ago. I called the magazine that we bought a subscription to and there is no record of a subscription in our name. Nobody replies when you contract them through their web site either.

This is a SCAM. Beware!! www.ournaturals.com is the web sitre which is still up and running. No phone number.

Does anybody know who this can be reported to and how?

This has nothing to do with Kay's Naturals LLC. Kay's Naturals is a soy product snack manufacturer.

It has nothing to do with magazine ads.

Why would an "anonymous" person put the name of Kay's Naturals on something for www.ournaturals.com. There is no relationship.

A girl came to my home in Ventura (camarillo, CA) and was saying that she is raising money to go on a trip. She told that she is living in my community and her Dad is Cop.

I thought it would be nice to help her as I also looking to buy books for my little ones (Dictionary and Encyclopedia). I order the books on 02/18/2008 and I still haven't gotten my book!!!! $82 down to the drain. Due to this order, I never got to buy the books when my little ones needed.

I'm also calling the BBB to report this scam.

This kind of scams will really stop people to help further to kids even some one came with real good cause. I will no longer buy anything from anyone that comes to my door as well!!!

Guest

I ordered the same magazine called Angels I lost my 21 year old nepew last year due to an accident. Thought this magazine could help.

what a shame soccer girls in this neighbor hood sold to me. never got this 6mo ago What in the world using kids to scam people

Guest

They came to my house in Ventura, CA on 3/12/08 and I still haven't gotten my book! It's been 146 days!!!

$48 down the drain I guess. I have sent them an e-mail on their website (that I can't get to anymore) and sent them a letter.

This is pathetic and I'm calling the BBB tomorrow to report them. People just have no scruples anymore and I will no longer buy anything from anyone that comes to my door, NO ONE!!!

Guest

The exact same thing happened to me everyone who has been scammed needs to get together and make the entire country aware of this.

Guest

Kay's Naturals, Inc. does not sell magazines and is being slandered.

The company described on this website is a legitimate company. We do not sell magazines and have nothing to do with the company using our name that does.

We have sued the company that does for using our name. We will sue for slander anyone who tells the public we are the company selling magazines and that we took their money and did not deliver.

Check the following links for more information.

http://www.vaildaily.com/article/2007****/NEWS/7050**** and http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/187/RipOff0187734.htm.

Each of these links will give you and the local police all the information you need.

If you have written them a check, you may want to have your bank cancel the check. We hear these stories from people daily and having you slander us does not solve the problem.

If you are slandering our company - we have done nothing to you - you may want to rethink your position.

Next time shop at Lowe's they only hire

General Contractors.

The Home Depot hires a General Contractor.

He then hires Sub-Contractors.

Go to Lowe's and ask only one question.

Will the General Contractor show up

at my House. ( In Person ). :(

As has been stated, the legit Kay's Naturals sells gluten-free high proten snack foods, among other things. I have used their products for over a year now and just heard of this issue today when searching for their website.

Please make sure that you are referencing the correct entity when voicing your complaints as Kay's Naturals foods are healthy and delicious.

There is no ruse. Do some research.

Guest

Hello,

My name is Tim and John I would like to tell you I work for Kay's Naturals the " Natural food company". How about you do a little research before you start talking about a company that you know nothing about.

We do make health food products and are known all over the country for our great products. Our website is www.kaysnaturals.com . John and anyone else for that matter can see that we are who we say we are and can look on the site and see who our owner is. Also John the mag.

company that you and others talk about is www.ournaturals.com . We are Inc. they are LLC. If you look John you will see that we are in Federal Court with Kay's Naturals LLC over name rights and there is a cease and desist order on them.

So before you go hurting our company by your incorrect comments do some research and correct your last statement. Thanks

Guest

It would seem as though the infamous Karleen Hillery has struck again. This time she has engineered a twist to the scam, putting off her magazine subscription ruse under the brand name of a health food company she has started.

Do not be fooled by the double talk and threats posted here, these are merely the attempts of a desperate woman to take desperate measures in protecting herself, very ingenious, really. If, as the above poster who "does not sell magazines", has really sued the "magazine sales" company then why is it that they continue to defraud people throughout the country. Aren't these types of lawsuits usually accompanied by cease and desist orders?

Because Karleen Hillery has now entered the health food busines does that really make her unscrupuloous magazine sales any less fradulent. Health food...I think not.

Kays Naturals, LLC did not deliver!

We purchases books from Kays Naturals, LLC believing we were assisting a child's dream of playing soccer in a foreign country. After one year, we are still waiting for the installment of our books.

I've tried to email the company, but their email address does not work. There is no phone number to contact this company on any of the receipts that we have in our possession.

Partly my fault that I waited so long to attempt to contact the company, but I misplaced the receipts.

The Kays Naturals website is still up and running, something should be done to stop these gypies.

Same thing happened to me. The 2 clean cut, all American boys said they were from our neighborhood, were home schooled and were raising travel money for their soccer team.

$120 and 8 months later, nothing has arrived. I have contacted the website numerous times with no luck.

I even contacted the 2 magazine companies to inform them of the scam and have received no response. Beware.

Guest

File a complaint with the AZ attorney generals office. I did and hope that someday these people will pay for what they're doing!

Guest

Same story! Even spent Way to much for a 2 year magazine subscripstion. I have contacted the magazine, Shape, and they haven't received anything.

Guest

Scammed also. How can we try and get our money back?

Guest

I have been scammed as well. I have waited almost a year for my magazines.

Two boys came to my door and ask me to purchase magazines - from each of them.

So I did ... from both of them and now I have nothing.

She misrepresented who she was and stole my money.

A very enthusiastic young woman came to the door claiming that she was from the UCSB Soccer Team. "We've just won the championship and we need to raise money to get to Hawaii! I am so excited! My aunt lives right up the hill from you. Do you know her?"

She then whipped out a big wod of magazine lists from which I could choose. These would go to either "the Children Hospitals or the troops abroad; whichever you want!" I was to then sign the receipt and WAM! what a surprise: the cheapest magazine cost $48. But hey! I was to (suddenly) get half of the money back, don't worry, etc.

Her mother would call me in about an hour after she left. Right! I had stopped believing her before that and wrote a phoney name on my check. She didn't notice. I then looked up the Kays Naturals website on the receipt and learned of this ***!

I fell for the same thing

I can't believe I fell for the same scam. Back in November a young girl came to my house selling Disney kid's books.

She said she was from the neighborhood and that her dad was even the main person in charge of the neighborhood watch. She said she was trying to raise money for her soccer team also. It's now the 1st of February and still haven't received anything. But the check I wrote was cashed.

What can I do to get my money back?

The name of the company on the back of the check I found out was Kay's Natural inc.

Same thing happened to me in Stafford, TX about 11/07. Guys said they were neighbors raising money for a college trip.

Had a bad feeling ,but for the first time didn't follow my gut.

BIG mistake. I'm now out $54.

Guest

I had the same thing happen. I am out $52.

Late June of 08. I Should have picked up on the fact that he never carried on after I mentioned a few local events going on. In the future I am going to ask for there Drivers License only Write it down in my check book. Change my mind on the subscribtion and post there information if they turn out to be a scam.

No ID no sale. And I will call 911 after the door shuts. Asking for references is point less, unless you personaly now the person.

Or sadly just put the NO Solicitors Sign in the window and chut the door in there face, call 911 most towns require permits to sell door to door. Amazing how being dupped out of $52 makes you feel....my 2 cents

Guest

Just read all of the above and same thing happened to me, almost like a script! We had only been in the neighborhood a few months, two girls claiming to need funds to help them get to a soccer tournament.

One said her mom drove such and such car, she lived in the neighborhood, went to the local schools, etc, etc. I am repulsed that they lied about these things! They were young girls!!

I am more pissed that I fell for their disgusting display but I have filed a complaint with the AZ district attorney's office and I advise everyone else to do so! I want my money back!!!

Guest

Kay's Natural is also the same crew who had a Fatal Van accident not too long ago. Karleen is her real name, and her ex-husband has a crew he leads.

Y.E.S. is also affliated with them. She was hiring kids at 15 and 16 years of age.

There has got to be something done about them. :( :?

Guest

So I work at this hotel and this group just checked in to my hotel!!!!!! OMG :cry :( :eek

Guest

I caught the guy down the block and got my check back. He had a song and dance about his semi-pro football team needing tickets to the big game (no such team exits).

Kay Naturals LLC - cant they be shut down some how? Isnt there a district attorney that needs to make a name for him/her self?

Guest

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do, if you didn't cancel the check payment before it was cashed, there is no way the bank (and sure as *** not the Kays Natural company) will refund you. I had a guy come to my door around 2/7 saying he was the son of this mom who does community events and my mom would know who he was talking about, the name was legit, somehow he persuades me to buy from him, saying he only got one other sale, and pretending like he isn't very good at door-to-door sales but he got desperate so he had to do it.

Once I made the transaction I just had a funny feeling...especially when he said "if you pay by cash I get double the points" it all started to seem kinda fishy, I do a little research and there it is, Kays Naturals LLC on several scam report sites....guess I was conned, people like this will make me skeptical to buy from even the most legitimate of sales people.

Learned the hard way we live in a buyer-beware society. Disgusts me.

Kay Naturals scamed me on a book order

I had a guy knock on my door that appeared to be about 15 and "a little slow", he said to me that he was "fund raising" for a football team. He was sellling mags and books.

He was very talkative and stumbled alot. He said that his mother was making him do this by himself because now that he was in college, he needed to be responsible. College?? A red flag went off but I bought anyway due to the obvious development delay.

After he left, I didn't feel comfortable, and it was very uneasy. I then went on the website and the first thing that popped up was "Rip Off Alert" I immediately freaked and told my adult son. He immediately went out and found him in the neighborhood and got my check back. The "so called slow boy" didn't even question as to why and returned the check.

I am probably one of few who didn't let it go...

they didn't win!! AMEN to the alert consumer.

Kay Naturals has a post another place in this list where they advise that someone is using their name and causing them problems. Kay Naturals does not sell magazines or books get your facts straight before making accusations. Seems the 'slow 15-yr old college boy' is not as slow as he looked.

Kays Naturals

I as well am a victim of the Soccer scam. I live in a new neighborhood and the boy that came to my door was also high pressure. He was telling me the same story about how he lived in another part of the neighborhood and his Mom walked her dog around where my house was. I didn't think anything of it, because there are so many people that walk there dogs around here. He also offered to wash my car, I even gave him a glass of water as he sat at my counter telling me all about his life. Oh just thinking about it makes my blood boil.

I recently received a letter telling me that the magazine I order has had some unforseen issues and was returned to them. They were unable to fulfill it. Instead they sent a list of magazines to choose from that were totally unexceptable. They were magazines that were in no way like the one I originally ordered.

I just sent an email to the company ournaturals.com demanding different selections within a week or I was canciling my order. I'll keep you posted on the results.

I too ordered books and magazine subscriptions from Kays Naturals, LLC. Again - same soccer camp story, same neighborhood boy story, etc.

I HAVE received my magazine subscriptions, but have NOT received any of the books. By the way, this is in Canyon Country, CA 91387.

Guest

i just wrote on another complaint about ournaturals. same soccer story same everything, we even planed on searching the neighborhood for those boys and nothing, the house they described didnt even egsist in the neighborhood!

i still havent received my book and i ordered in january!!! :( :(

Guest

I rarely, rarely subscribe to door to door sales, but these kids were convincing. SAME soccer story, SAME 'neighbor' story.

I have received NOTHING I ordered. I'M PISSED, and this ruins it for the remote possibility of me subscribing to any innocent product sales folks that come around.

Kays Naturals

Two boys with nearly the same story (parent in neighborhood, soccer team, will do something for homeowner) came to my home in a new neighborhood selling very expensive books. They talked their way into my home and stayed too long.

After the fact, I felt that I had been cased for a break-in. their behavior was highly suspicious in hind sight. People need to be made aware of what Kays Naturals is training these young people to do, and to call the police.

they should also be reported to homeowner's associations so they can notifty new homeowners in their newsletters as to what to watch for. If the neighborhood is posted the homeowner can also ask for their "letter of permission from the HOA", which will usually discourage them from returning.

I can't believe I fell for this! Young kid came to my door on August 17 with a package he said was delivered to his home.

He then asked if I would be interested in helping him earn money for his soccer team. Very nice looking, personable young man, said he just graduated high school and was on a travelling soccer team. Told me he was from Michigan and his parents were letting him take a year off from school to pursue his dream of playing in this travelling soccer team. Said he planned next year to go to the University of Tampa.

So I invited him in and proceeded to buy two magazines each with a two year subscription at a cost of $112. Gave me an official receipt.

Only after he left with check in hand did I feel uneasy. My next step is to notify the police.

Kay Naturals

On 2/14/2007 I purchased a set of books for $74.00 from two young guys who were soliciting in my new neighborhood. In April sent in a reminder to the website posted to let them know that I had not yet received my order. Although they said to allow 120 days, it is now July 27th and the days have long expired.

I logged in again today, only to discover that I had been conned in the same way as others have been by this scam business. Please put a stop to this illegal activity and if possible, get them to refund the money stolen.

Kay's Naturals - Scam!

I, too have not received my book set as ordered. It has been almost 6 months and there are no books, no contact with a "Roger" who said he would come and wash my car, not to mention, he also promised me a $25 Borders Gift certificate if I ordered from him.

I think it's a shame that these people are getting away with taking our money under the pretense that they are working their way through college. I should have asked for ID and when he gave me his phone number, I should have called it immediately. I believe my money is lost and here I was only doing it to help him. I went to their website and it angers me that they said they would get back to me in 24 hours.

They haven't.

There is no phone number.
