Jacket
Washed jacket in washing machine for first time. Reversed side.
The inner cotton is crushed. Not layered back properly.
It's puffer jacket. Washed along with few clothes only
Defective merchandise
Purchased Timber NGX boots with vibram soles. Soles we're defective/substandard and split.
Checked with several repair shops and they could help. First went to store to seek assistance/information about repairs. Boot is broken in and only problem is quality (lack there of) of soles. I don't want money I just want my boot fixed.
Store was NO HELP. Rep just blew me off. Went to competitor because was done with Katmandu and they recommend contacting CS Team. I am glad I did.
Ian was professional and understood. All I want is boot fixed or replaced. He recommended getting an assignment from store or have them put me in contact with designated repair shop. (Store rep never suggested nor offered these options - just that they weren't familiar with product and to look online for repair shops).
CST member provided information and requested pictures so CST could do assessment. Ian was brilliant and is the main reason am considering staying a Katmandu customer. To point that returned to Erina shop with information CST provided and this time Store 3IC confirmed information CST provided.
They took pictures and my contact details. Ian with CST should get credit and hope now my boots can be repaired or replaced due to manufacturing defects

Exchange gift for something else
My time frame has exceeded 3 months
So, I am told I cant make an exchange.
I have been away not able to return the gift given to me, it has the tags on, never worn.
Missing product
I placed an order on 4 August 2022 ,I still have not received it.
They say all the products are always out of stock.

My old down jacket had downs leaking from all over it and Kathmandu acknowledged it as a defect and replaced it with a new one and even provided further discount that was applicable to the present day.

Order at outlets store online. They told me it will take 1 week however, its been long I havent got anything.

Refund or exchange
My 86 year old mother-in-law purchased a jacket on Friday the 26/8/22. She went to wear it on Saturday and found to tiny holes on the sleeve which she hadn't noticed when purchasing the item.
She took it back today Monday 29/8/22 for an refund or exchange and was refused. I called the store at Northland in Victoria and was told that all the jackets are perfect and it never happens, which I find hard to believe. She is a pensioner who doesn't have $119.00 to throw away. She doesn't want it repaired.
She wants a new jacket or a refund. So where do we go from here.
Please reply asap. Thank you.

I spoke to a sales person yesterday and he told me to bring in my faulty jacket that I reported so I drove all the way from Ashhurst 30min away to bring my jacket in today and a (rude manager Indian fella I charge) of the Kathmandu Palmerston North store or sales person told me to come back another day because he needs to speak to the salesman first and I can come back' I told him why cannot he help me or sent the jacket in to get assessed and he told me because it's for training purpose !!!! So I need to accept my time being wasted!!
That customer service is absolute *** and I expect something to be done about it, I have never encountered someone so rule and unprofessional in a clothing store in my life! He would not accept my jacket or help me and sent me away.

I recently bought a jumper from Kathmandu Fountangate shopping centre which the feather is coming out from every where and doesn't look clean at all also its getting emtpy.
I have contacted fountangate store to ask their advice and possible way to get my problem fixed, the girl who answered the first time after hearing my concern hanged up on me the second time I tried no one picked up the third time the guy is telling me it's totally normal the feather is coming out even tho I keep emphasizing how its severe and getting empty still keep telling me if the feather doesn't come out it won't keep you warm which is totally nonsense and stupid.. I want an answer please contact me SAP!!!1
