To tell people the booklet is so faint you cannot read it.
The unsuccessful cleared on my Steripen ultralight is too faint to read and when I asked for help they want me to pay them for the information. Some customer support.

Had a malfunctioning Steri pen
UV water treatment unit not working as it was supposed to. They have been very good about trying to trouble shoot it with me and were quick to respond to my query.

Hiker Pro handle broke second time I used it.
I recently went on a hunting trip in the Frank Church River of no Return Wilderness in Idaho. I was relying on my Katadyn Hiker Pro filter to provide me with drinking water as I was in a very secluded area for seven days.
Unfortunately, on the second day I was there I attempted to use my pump when the plastic handle broke and I was not able to use it for the rest of the trip. I was very disappointed in the performance and the ease with which it broke.
I followed the directions when assembling the pump when I purchased it in 2017. This was the first trip it was used and failed on the second attempt to use it.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
