I give them one star because I cannot find anything less.

spent over $300 for ribeye and porterhouse steaks. porterhouse full of gristle. ribeyes less than 3/4 inch thick. when I complained they couldn't fine my order but suggested I order a special cut. you can get more from your money from Safeway. by the way, the "money back" guarantee means little since they don't keep records and I had to go back to emails to find an order number. seems as though they could have looked

Sad ti say one of your product is lousy

Have been buying your steaks for a while and they are great. The strips are a little tough , but ok! BUT your hot dogs that we bought are bad. Taste was not good and both my husband and myself had upset stomachs. Was surprised that Kansas Steak would produce such a product. Tossed them to the trash. Won't be buying them again...ever!

User's recommendation: Do not buy the hot dogs! ugh!!!!!

Best Steak i NEVER ate

I thought I would try Kansas City Steaks for Valentines Day. I had been on their email list for specials. They has a 2 t-bone special for Valentines for $50 with free shipping. So I thought I would give it a try. I placed the order on 2/9/2015 for a shipping date of 2/10/2015 with 2-day shipping. Package was never received on 2/12/2015 no 2/13/2015. Thus this 2 day air package sat in a truck for 6 days receiving it on 2/26/2015 AFTER Valentines day. I contacted KCS customer service to ask whether this package was shipped as food and perishable. They stated yes. The customer contact person told me I should file a claim with the shipper UPS. Which I did. When I finally did receive the package I open it up just to see if t here was still dry ice left , the seal bag was empty. Thus I never ate their steak due to the fact I had no idea how long these had not been frozen. So for my first experience with this Company is miserable. The package was not labeled perishable, KCS asked me to file the claim with the shipper, I had to repackage the box and leave it for UPS. One final salt in the wound, KCS asked me to review my purchase one line on their website. I listed all the fact listed here and conveniently the review is not posted. Thus it appears all the reviews on their website are bogus or slanted, thus I felt impelled to post on yelp for the discriminating consumer. Also I posted this review on Yelp.com and miraculously that review disappeared too! I still cannot believe it takes 6 days to receive a product with 2 day shipping and that the package was not labeled perishable. Finally, this whole experience was so inconvenient , The steaks never arrived on time , I have to contact Customer Service 3 times, I have to go out and get replacement steaks and I had to send the package back to UPS I suggest to all use your local butcher/meat shop to hand pick you product!
