Kajeet will not refund credit balances

Kajeet has a strict policy of absolutely no refunds for anything. This means if you cancel your service it is not prorated. If you have a $20+ credit balance in something they call a ¨wallet" they keep all the money in your wallet, and in your child´s ¨wallet¨ I am not aware of any other cell phone service provider that has a strict policy of keeping all credit balances. I think consumers should know about this anti-consumer policy and practice. When I complained about about not prorating my bill after cancelling service, and their refusal to refund $20 in my wallet and my child´s wallet they flatly refused because they state that they have a policy of absolutely no refunds. Be aware that if you do business with this company you will not be able to get back any money you paid them, even if you have a credit balance.

Kajeet has terrible customer service

Kajeet is a service that gives parents controls on their kids' phones. I got a phone that could not be activated. I called customer service (which is closedon the weekends) and sat on the phone for 1.5 hours to try to activate the phone. Customer serrvice tried to blame the problem on my router. Then kajeet spontaneously sent me a replacement phone. That phone, after three calls to customer service, also couldnot be activated. Kajeet opened two tech support tickets, but no one ever called me about them. Instead, i received several automated emails saying the problems had been resolved. This process has taken 6 hours of my time and nearly $300. Shame on kajeet for making this so difficult and giving such poor customer service.

Kajeet phones for kids

Very unhappy. I never received my rebates for the two phones I bought. I did everything correctly and sent in the correct paperwork to make sure i would get my rebates. The phones were over $100 each and i was supposed to get $50 back on each. I was aLways given the run around and different stories when I called. Always told me I couldn't speak to manager. I even wrote many letters to different individuals in the company (info that i found by googling them) and still no response. So frustrated after 6 months I gave up and went with another company!!!

What you said is so true about never getting to speak a manager. There is NEVER one available.

We have had multiple problems with kajeet.

They suck! Their concept is awesome, but their customer service and way they handle things is ridiculous!
