Best Golden Retriever / Lab pedigree site

If you are into dog shows and showing Golden Retrievers or Labs, you won't find a better pedigree site. They provide all the information you need to research your chosen breed's history, genetic health, and more. Two thumbs up.

Unfortunately, K9data.com was the victim of a ransomware attack in the fall of 2022. It took several months for us to recover the website, and then we found that the code that was written in the late 1990s was sadly out of date, and things like the new user process, resetting passwords, etc, was not able to be corrected without a major rewrite.

This rewrite is underway, but in the meantime, the database owner lost access to the admin email that is shown on the site. We stopped giving out her email because of the sheer number of harassing emails that she was receiving. In a nut shell, new user and password reset requests are being seen by the new service providers as SQL injection attacks. The only way around this is to completely rewrite the code to modern coding standards.

K9data.com is being rewritten in its entirety.

Hopefully, the new site will be up and available winter 2024/spring 2025. In the meantime, I highly suggest that you join the Facebook group for K9data support: https://***/groups/109913****128447
