Weird, but nice stuff if you have the $$$

Owner's quirky and conversation can be tough. The few times I've been in, I always feel a little uncomfortable and as though I've said the wrong thing somehow. If you are sensitive or feelings easily hurt, stay away, although I think the person is mostly harmless. If you're trying to replicate the old-FW-money look, however, this is the place. Prices reflect this. If you're bringing anything in to sell, you'd be wise to carefully study the store's merchandise first and only try trading similar quality/style items. The inventory is generally older high-end furniture, lamps, rugs, etc. Names like Baker, Henredon, Drexel, etc.

Dealing with a miserable human being

Do you want to walk into an antique store only to be confronted by the most miserable, disagreeble, nasty person on the planet? If yes, then go to K. Flories Antiques on Camp Bowie in Ft. Worth. Ridiculously high prices also prevail. Ms. Flories is one seriously disturbed human being. I don't understand how she stays in business. I simply attempted to engage her in some friendly conversation and she fell off the tracks. Stay out of this shop. A more horrible, terrible, ugly human being there has never been. To describe her as mean spirited would be to engage in charity.
