Very caring staff

AI Highlights
  • - Friendly, non-chain place with self-paced classes; trainers show trophies.
  • - Dog now obeys basic commands; some methods seemed strange but worked.

Very Freindly place not a chain stores., sit,do Classes at your own pace. You are moved to the next group when you feel comfortable with moving up.

Lots of classes to choose from. The trainers proudly show trophies and metals they have won at dog compititions

Some of the things they told me to do sounded strange, but they worked. I practiced what they told me and very soon my dog started to respond to commands and calm down alot.

and we can take him places without worry of being embarassed. My dog can now do all the basic commands ,sit come down and heel.

Worth the money unlike petsmart that was a waste of time

Abusive trainers! (K-9 Koncepts)

AI Highlights
  • - Paid $800 non-refundable for training.
  • - The facility is a dump.
  • - Trainers yelled at us; dogs treated like enemies; prong collar used to lift a dog.

I would NEVER recommend this business for training! I paid $800.00 (which was non-refundable). I took my dog there and started going through the training with her. The trainers treated the dogs like they were the enemy and the owners like they were idiots. When my dog peed in the middle of the training despite taking breaks, I could see how stressed out she was at the way she was being treated. What happened next...one of the trainers yelled at her and me for letting it happen!

The place is a dump! You may not be looking for a fancy place, but this is ridiculous.

The scariest thing of all is when I saw one of the trainers discipline a dog by picking it up off the ground by the leash attached to a prong collar. Not only is that wrong...it's abusive!!

It is also worrisome that dog aggressive dogs can be in your class. Sure, they are wearing a colored bandana, but is that enough protection?

Don't bother to go there if you respect yourself and your dog.

Cons:
  • How the dogs and owners are treated
