How do I cancel my membership I have talked to three different people and tried for more than a year going online I see that others are having the same problems and issues I have been told my membership has been canceled three or four different times but we keep getting a bill for 1999 a month there are neighbors in my neighborhood who are having the same issues this is the craziest thing I feel like it's a scam I would never join this gym or tell anyone to because you can never get out of your contract it was close to my house that's the only reason why I joined but it closed down so now there's not one even around me

I am sending this letter out to every Just 4 fitness gym hope that the message get to the owner( Joseph Hoyt Stephenson) the importance of addressing a problem that is happening in the LILBURN Just4Fitness location I have been a member of Just4fitness for up to 4 years now even when they had to close one location reopen up in another but I have never encounter what I’ve witness that the person who’s in charge at this LILBURN location speaking of the individual name Jamille Morgan it has been brought to my attention and others that female member of the facility at Lilburn gym that this individual has been making females uncomfortable with his sexual gestures now I am not one to mention of a situation when it’s just one person complaining but as I said I have been a member of this gym for quite some time and like this gym very much I have the opportunity to build friendly relationship with others members of the gym we encourage each other when we are working out, older members as well as new members are expressing our concerns of the sexual advances with the female’s that been approached by Jamelli Morgan as females who already is trying to build their self-confidence and self-esteem when we join a gym should not feel uncomfortable from the staff who is in charge of making sure that we are secure and safe while working on oneself but this not the case not only once but three different incident from three different females have complained. I Don’t want a miss understanding that all the staff at Just4 Fitness lack concern of their gym members although I seen staff come and go I experienced nothing but energetic and kindness throughout the years.
It is very *** to have this individual in the gym when you know his motive is not to be there to help you, but trying to get with the females in a unprofessional manners there has not been one complaint but many and if this does not seem important enough to resolved then I feel that it needs to go to the media he should be remove from his position. I have spoken to these ladies and inform them this is the action to take so we hope that the owner see the seriousness of this situation. Staff members were informed as well as to notified Jarrett who is also known as supervisor or manager yet nothing done.
This is coming from a very concerned member before things get even more out of hand and Jamelli Morgan will go too far.

I canceled my membership for my daughter and I in September 2016, they only canceled my daughters and not mine. I have been transferred from the national fitness management company back to the store-well duh my store where I signed is closed so they told me to go to another store.
They have been charging me 19.99 for every month plus enhancements fee 2x since September. Finally saw someone at another store last month and he said he can only refund me 3 months worth and he was sorry. I only agree because I have been dealing with this *** for 7 months!! You will not beleieve it~~~I looked at my account and they charge me another 19.99!!!
Calling main office and will get a lawyer and sue them never never ever get a membership with this chain!

I was on a 2 week trial period a couple of years ago and thought about signing up, before I left the gym, I changed my mind because i would never use the membership. I asked the guy to shred my papers because I didn't want to go there.
He said no problem. 8 months later after I switched banks, I got a statement from the company saying I was late on my payment. For 7 months they were taking money out of my checking account and I had no idea. I contacted the manager on duty and even went up to the gym to see what to do.
They offered me a card for entry because I didn't have one. That was not my intentions. This is the worst place i have ever been to in my life. I was just told they got shut down for fraudulent activity and scamming customers.
I have never been so happy to see a company FINALLY get busted for what they are doing without people knowing. I think the guy at the time just wanted to meet his quota for sign up, but things like this is how to screw people over. Not that I'm glad this has happened to other people, but I'm happy that someone else can relate top my situation about this horrible corporation.
I'm still trying to fight this almost $500 charge on my credit. Thanks a bunch jerks!

What happened to the 3-day Clause for Full Refund Guarantee Cancellations?
Save yourself the agony and the headache and go with a reputable company with an acknowledge contract. This staff here are running a scheming fraud business, and saying things that is not accurate nor written on their contract. Yes, the reviews are true of those who have had bad experiences, especially if you do not want their services. (Yes, there will be some people who are fine with their services)
The way this business or fitness center is operated is very fraudulent and enough to make me reconsider wanting to take part in this fitness center nor use its services.
When I signed up the rep Stephanie, stated that I could cancel anytime withing 3 days and get my full refund. Now I am being told that they do not refund. Today is April 20, 2015 ( Monday) I am being denied m y refund. I receieved the contract via email today April 20, 2015 at 10:57am ( this is ~ 1-hr after I cancelled my contract at 9:53am
Having signed up and going back to cancel my membership and get my refund, they stated that I cannot get my refund (includes First & Last Month). I spoke to rep Anissa, who asked my questions about cancelling and I told her I would not be available to use their services nor interested in continuing my membership. She called the rep Mike to further clarify their lies and scamming scheme as she is limited in articulating it. I further stated that, I have not even used the gym nor any of its services.
I asked for refund and manager only to get the run-around.
I asked what happens to my money and the rep Mike, said it is basically a donation to company's renovation. I am not understanding, how I do not get my money back, if I have never used your services.
I called to ask for manager's arrival today, only to be told by the staff rep , that she does not know if he would come to the gym today nor tomorrow. What kind of company have no supervisor or knowledge of its managerial staff.
I called my bank to dispute the charge to find that the payment is still processing, meaning that JustFitness4U-Mesquite, cancel the payment, but come to find they put a recurring charge on my card even after I have cancelled the membership. I do not want to pay for services that I am not going to use. I asked my bank to make a not of that and stop any charge from JustFitness4U.
I personally would not use this company or fitness center, solely based on the interactions I have with the staff on a day different from when they see your debit card. If I cannot get a straight answer it means that things will get more shady without a solid answer. I do not want to pay for something that I am not using.

The JF4U in Hurst Tx that I signed up with shutdown without notice in june 2014 and now I am being charged a yearly fee for fitness 2000 and have never stepped foot I'm that place. How is JF4U going to just sell my contract and credit card info to whoever they want without contacting me for permission?
That can't be right. Is this happening to anyone else??
The only reason I found out was because a guy at the new gym I signed up with told it had happened to other customers of his.

I had a similar problem with them. After been given a number to call in other to cancel my membership which I did, the rep i spoke to canceled my monthly auto bill payment but with no further info and I thought I was done with them.
But 3 months down the line, I received a call from a collection agency that I'm owing just fitness 3 monthly payment. I disagreed and was told to call the gym for clarification and I did. Spoke to a lady that claimed she was the manager, she was rude and told me the only way to dispute the case was to get a lawyer. Can you imagine that?
She then went further to tell me that it's in her note that I hung up on the rep before she could give me the info that I needed and when I asked for the phone record to prove what she said, she said it was classified.
She even said they wrote me numerous mails that I never received. I can only say that this people are phony and dishonest and will look for ways to cover their own mistakes even if they have to rip you off.
False Contract & Billing Errors
Contract was not upheld on the company's part and was false. Employees explained contract incorrectly.
Contract was incorrectly explained. The annual membership fee of $49.00+tax was to be charged in January and I received 2 charges for 2013. January and June. I requested a refund and the billing company was horrendous and it took demanding the $53.04 be refunded. The only option was to cancel the membership. I am still completely dissatisfied with this company and I seek full reimbursement because the contract is null and void. I have complained several times; two personal trainers were fired and no effort to refund my money was made. Attached below is the first email I sent to the Manager of the Mesquite branch.

Hi John,
I have a few concerns with my training agreement. My name is ******* and my trainer is *** When I joined the gym on 6/18/11 the first assessment was scheduled for the morning of 6/25/11 and I brought my dad with me and I believe you ended up talking with him and signing him up for the gym membership as well.
I signed up for the training sessions for 1 time a week and my training was supposed to be on Tuesdays at 6pm. The following Tuesday I showed up to the gym at 5:30 and starting warming up. I went to *** around 5:55 to get started on my session. *** asked if I could give him about 20 minutes because he was running behind schedule and I said that was fine. I went back to *** around 6:30 and he said he would be just a few more minutes. By 6:55 my workout session had not began I decided to leave. I asked the guy behind the counter to take a message I left my cell phone number and asked that *** reschedule. *** called 10 minutes after I left and rescheduled for Wednesday. Wednesday went as planned.
The following week I show up on Tuesday at 5:30 to warm up and I go to *** around 5:55 and he told me he thought I was scheduled for Thursday. So I said fine, I will be back Thursday. Thursday went as planned.
I showed up last week on Tuesday at 5:30 for Shelby to again think my sessions are Thursdays. So I said fine, except I had to work late Thursday and couldn't come so I called at 5:35 and left a message that I had to cancel.
With all these miscommunications I don't not feel that I am getting what I paid for and I would like to cancel my training agreement.
I feel that I have more than paid for what I have received in return and I do not feel that I should have to pay for the termination fee on top of that.
Please let me know your thoughts and advise when my training membership is cancel and please confirm if the termination fee will be waived.
Just Fitness 4U Lies
This gym does not tell you the truth when you register as a member. When you join they fill in your info on a computer screen you cannot see, you sign a signature pad allowing an automatic debt.
This is supposed to be a contract free gym. When you try to cancel you learn that you signed a 2 year contract and there will be a $75 cancellation fee. Total ripoff especially when you ask specifically if there is a contract involved.
In the packet of info you are given at sign up there is no mention of this 2 year contract. This exact scenario happened to myself and multiple friends and family members.
Just Fitness is terrible.
My daughter was given the run-around when it was time to cancel her membership (because she was moving)and I just can't keep my mouth shut about this.
My daughter was a member of this gym for almost a year. No contract, $10 a month, sounds great, right? When she found out she was moving she went into the gym to cancel, and they gave her a phone number to call because they don't handle cancellations inside the gym. Ok, that is reasonable.
When she called the number, they said they didn't cancel over the phone, but had to be wrote out and snail-mailed to a P.O. Box. Now that is ridiculous. That is just pro-longing the cancellation.
Her bill date was the 15th of every month, the cancellation is 30 days from the NEXT bill date. She called to cancel the day after her bill date, so she would have to wait 2 months to cancel a membership she no longer used. I could handle 1 month, but 30 days from the NEXT billing period is just a blatant attempt to rack up on membership fees before the cancellation.
She wrote the letter, included the member number and the date it was mailed. She never received confirmation it was received, she had to call and still couldn't get a straight answer.
Then we found out the 30 days didn't start until they received the letter, which they claimed they didn't receive for 2 1/2 weeks, due to "processing." That was the last straw!
I told her to stop all payments to Just Fitness and be done with it. She had a copy of the letter (which was notarized) and her phone bill would show the calls if she had dispute it in court.
BEWARE OF JUST FITNESS!!!!

The best way to cancel your membership is to come to the gym directly & speak w/ the owner. The owner & you will sign a cancellation form so that each of you has a copy. Once this is done, you can request the owner to call billing services right then & there to rectify your situation.
This company just plays games with people. The staff is full of liars only concerned with seoling memberships.
There is no quality control. Have the billing company stop billing your account
