Verified Reviewer |Temporary stay during a work contract with a need for flexible lease terms
The flexible lease terms at June Homes allowed me to stay for exactly five months during my contract. It is the best option I found for a temporary living arrangement.

Verified Reviewer |Appreciation for the help
- - Guest panicked after losing a bag with documents.
- - House manager helped locate it after checking camera footage; it was my mistake, not theft.
I had a really stressful moment during my stay. One day I could not find my bag with my documents inside.
For a few hours, I was in full panic mode. When something like that happens, my brain immediately goes to the worst-case scenario. I honestly thought someone had stolen it.
I reached out to the house manager right away. Instead of brushing it off, they actually helped me figure it out.
We checked the camera footage, and I realized I had simply left my bag in another part of the house.
It was my mistake, not theft.
They helped me locate it, and everything ended well. In that moment, I felt supported, which mattered a lot.

Verified Reviewer |To share my experience with june homes
- - Positive mid-term stay.
- - Furnished apartment; move-in was straightforward.
- - Location convenient; functional, but support responses could be slow.
I rented with June Homes for a mid-term stay and overall had a positive experience. The apartment was furnished, move-in was straightforward, and the location was convenient for daily life.
The place was generally clean and functional.
The main downside was that support responses could be slow at times, especially for non-urgent requests. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but it did require some patience.
User's recommendation: Before booking, confirm all details in writing, especially utilities, fees, and move-out terms. Take photos at move-in and move-out, and use the app or email for requests so everything is documented. This helps avoid misunderstandings later and makes the experience smoother.

- - Daughter signed a lease for FIT in Chelsea, NY.
- - The current resident will stay longer and has priority and school starts 8/25/25.
My daughter, who is attending FIT in Chelsea, New York, from Virginia, signed a lease. She then gets an email stating that the person who already lived in the room decided to stay longer. I was told that that person has priority, but my child already signed the lease and now has to search for another place, and school begins on 8/25/25.
- Are very not very professional they are rude
Preferred solution: i would like for them to correct the issue
User's recommendation: Do not trust them

Verified ReviewerUnpredictable June Home Pricing and Misleading Lease Terms – Be Cautious!
- - Automated application and quick onboarding.
- - Rent fluctuates by demand; pricing unclear.
- - Move-out timing and charges unclear.
- - High utility bills with unclear breakdown.
I initially had a great impression of June Homes, a property management company based in NYC with rentals across the U.S. The rental application process was smooth, automated, and didn't require in-person steps. The onboarding was quick, the units looked clean, and customer support appeared responsive and available 24/7. At first, everything seemed efficient and tenant-friendly.
However, my experience changed significantly after moving in. Pricing isn't consistent; monthly rent can vary drastically based on demand or user activity in your area. For example, I paid around $500 one month, but extending the same room later cost $600 to $650, so in total, I used to pay around $850 to $900 for a small round in Austin, but the master bedroom with attached bathroom price was below my price; it's a scam company. It feels like a dynamic pricing model that lacks transparency.
Another concern: I extended my stay from Jan 30 to Feb 27, but they informed me that the lease for that property will end on Feb 28, so the move-out date will be Feb 27th. Despite this, they charged the full amount and expected move-out by 10 AM—details that were buried in the fine print. Worse, they charged extra for Jan 31, including rent, utilities, and added convenience fees, even though it was supposedly part of my lease.
Utility charges are excessive—over $200 for gas, electricity, and internet in Austin, TX—with hidden billing details and no clear breakdown. Based on my experience, I would not recommend June Homes. Read every detail of the agreement carefully; they're not as transparent as they initially seem. It's totally a scam.
Preferred solution: Full refund
