This Julie Murphy {{REDACTED}} stole ($2000) from us in the Charleston, SC area. If you happen to come across her, RUN!!!!
We served papers on her which was useless as no one was at her house. It is probably to her benefit that she is not at the address listed for her since so many people have been ripped off by her. Hopefully, one day, she will be prosecuted, saving many brides hardship. Based on other complaints, this sneaky {{REDACTED}}has stolen from brides outside of SC, too.
I hope that one day she will be apprehended, and all who have lost their money to this thief will be repaid. {{REDACTED}}!

JULIE MURPHY, WEDDING PLANNER- A FRAUD!
Do not do business with Julie Murphy, wedding planner!! She is running a scam from SC to Mexico by stealing the brides money, leaving them devastated.
She is an old woman and seems very harmless but she is a thief. She has left a trail of ripped off brides and no one can catch her, not even to serve her in court!! I personally know she has stolen 3k from me but I have ran into many bride that she has stolen thousands of dollars.
PLEASE BEWARE!! I wish I had seen this before I paid her for a destination wedding but she somehow HIDES any negative feedback.

She stole our money!!
Like the person said before, she is a scam artist. All of her experience and claims are false!!
Liar and a fraud! She has been able to take down all bad feedback and elude the police from being served. This woman belongs in jail!! She has been sued many times but avoids being served.
She pretended to own a 64 acre ranch with a barn for wedding venue, turns out, she did not own the property al ALL!!!
After contacting all the photographers she claimed to be "her vendors" I found out all the images on her website were stolen from the internet! She is a 79 year old women claiming to be country singer Jamieo'niels daughter which is also false.

I would not recomend Julie Murphy
She did a horrible job and I would never recommend her to anyone. She was very difficult to work with and could not perform the duties she claimed to do.
I have tried to post several times to wrn others but she keeps finding a way to get my comments taken down. If anyone see this, be warned. She has ruined my daughters' wedding and refuses to return the money. Many others are with me but she keeps the media away from her new clients.
Check Julie Murphy's references and make sure they are not fakes. i didn't do my homework and I am out money.

I hired Julie Murphy at to plan a destination wedding at Storybook Barn in Sough Carolina, she was fired fired the venue and never returned our deposit. She has done this same scam with at least 3 other brides AND I found out that all her pictures on her website are ALL bogus!!
She also tried to double charge for vendors...who no idea who she was!!
She has since taken down her website due to legal issues but she is in the Charleston SC area scamming someone...BEWARE!! The pictures on her wed site that she claines to have designed or purchase were stolen!!!
ulie is a scam artist. DO NOT hire her to be your wedding planner.
She approached us with talk of "couture linens" and "preferred vendors" and got us to sign a contract with her. She arranged 2 vendor meetings, and then did nothing else. She wanted the full balance of the money 6 months before the wedding and then it became harder and harder to contact her - and she did little else to help plan the wedding. She refused to refund any of the money.
And then she left town! If you look her up you can see she had wedding planning "boutiques" in multiple states, including TN, KY, and SC and she seems to skip around once she has conned brides out of their money.

She did the same to us ($2000)when we lived in Charleston, SC. Of course she couldn't be found when we served papers on her.
It will happen soon enough. Good riddance to bad rubbish who is a sorry excuse for a human being!
