Dose Pack Pills Crumble Coming Out - Jubilant Cadista Does Not Stand Behind Their Product
Jubilant Cadista Pharmaceuticals Inc. Methylprednisone Dose Pack Pills Crumble Coming Out of Foil Dispensory Pack - Jubilant Cadista Does Not Stand Behind Their Product - Box Lot Number 23P0407
2 pills in the same pack crumbled.
Tried taking 1 - It was such a horrific experience I do not recommend.
The Rancid After-Taste Would Not Go Away, that started my *** reflexes, and could not be washed down for an extended period of time. I finally had to Suck on a Lemon which helped to mask the taste a little, but I do not recommend that experience for anyone, and would think a manufacturer would want to make absolutely sure their customers did not have that experience with their product. Needless to say, when a 2nd pill crumbled after carefully trying to remove it, I wanted a replacement.
I asked Company to Reimburse Pharmacy to replace 1 Pill, since I knew they could not likely dispense it to me directly.
Jubilant Cadista Quality Control Rep & Supervisor Refused to stand behind their product by issuing a credit to the Pharmacy. Unfortunately, there's really no other recourse, because insurance will not authorize replacements, and doctor PLA (patient level authorization approval) would take too long (72 to 96 hours) and the pill had to be taken that morning.
The pharmacy expected $10 to replace crumbled pill!
I've only ever had to call a pharmaceutical manufacturer before, for a product problem, who immediately took responsibility for their Quality Control issue and offered replacement through the pharmacy.
Sadly, JUBILANT CADISTA WOULD NOT OFFER ANY REMEDY FOR THEIR PRODUCT DEFECT, despite admitting this is a known, but rare, complaint.
The staff were, however, courteous and professional. The company or the quality control team responsible for handling these types has very poor consumer satisfaction policies.

Preferred solution: Their guaranteed to pay my Pharmacy to Replace 1 Pill that crumbled as it was carefully being removed from the foil pack, due to overly resistant foil and stiff plastic front, causing 2 pills in my pack to crumble.

As we enter a new era of drug mfg and 80% of the drugs come from China. I think India is going to give them a run for their money, because they care, they strive to make a better product, and i have a feeling they care about what they put in their drugs.
Maybe they care about the cleanliness of their operation, Maybe they care about the Consumer more than China. Whatever it is, Jubilate Crispita is superior to ScienGen!
This company called me not too long after my review. They ask me to send them a sample of my script since they wanted to know where they went wrong.
They sent me a UPS RETURN envelope. Well let me tell you. I Happened to get a redose from them since then and they have changed and whatever they did was Superior. It was like Qualitest all over again.
If you are on Carisopodol 350 this is the brand name you want. I think you will be very happy you tried it again.
