Non -Payment
On Saturday, February 11, 2023, John Banning, doing business as JTB Landscapers, provided an onsite estimate for $65,000 to upgrade the rear yard of our property. The bid amount was subsequently increased by $10,500 for installing a second awning.
Despite JTB being paid in full, they failed to pay their supplier, SiteOne Landscape Supply, resulting in a lien being placed on my property for $19,694.96.
The Non-payment or diversion of funds combined with JTB's refusal to respond to multiple requests to resolve went ignored, forcing me to retain counsel to contact both JTB and their supplier.
After filing a complaint with the Nevada Contractors Board and scheduling an onsite visit to address defective workmanship, John Banning acknowledged the non-payment to the supplier, apologized for the diversion of funds, and agreed to reimburse me for my attorney fees. Make
