We finally got a refund. They still kept a good portion for insurance.
When we scheduled a trip to Israel we were encouraged to put down money right away to secure the prices for over a year away on our trip. My husband then found out he has prostate cancer and the coronavirus hit the country.
We cancelled immediately. It's been over 2 months and they informed me it will be about $400 per person to cancel. That's with trip insurance. Still don't have our money back.
They said allow several weeks for refund.
Why? They processed the receipt of my money very efficiently!
Preferred solution: Full refund

Although my tour was successful, this company is TERRIBLE. They never communicated nor provided any information to me or my friend even after requesting same several times.
The little information we did receive was WRONG and caused us to switch hotels after (2) days. They didn't even have the decency to provide the basics like an itinerary or cultural information. Honestly, I could have done without them and arranged my entire vacation without them as they really provided NO value and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. This company is so poor they should not even refer to themselves as a travel company.
ZERO stars across the board. I could have planned a smoother, better trip myself.

Groupist/Journeys Unlimited/Regina tours
I started trying to find a tour of the Holy land for the 80th birthday of my father. I wanted to speak with the Minister leading the tour as we were of another Christian faith. I was told that I was "refusing to talk" to the agent as I was awaiting return call from the Father before booking trip. I talked to the Father was exceptionally nice. Then I went to book on 10-5. I was told that in 24-48hr they would have quote. I enquired every week or so and no quote. Called owner of company to let him know that this planned trip was being delayed and that I would look elsewhere on 10-19.
Today (10-20) had quote for something totally not discussed. Emails referred to me as a B-----. And that I should "take a hike". Christian must be a loose term for this organization. There level of customer care and professionalism is horrid.
Other agencies in their umbrella are Regina tours, ET African Tours and Small Boat Holidays.
I won't be traveling with them and would suggest judicious care if you are considering these groups. I have never experienced such disrespect from a travel agency in 20 yrs of use.
