I was given a phone number to a Jotul dealer by a very friendly lady, but I couldn't get through to the business she provided. The phone wouldn't even ring in.
I wish I could talk to a Jotul company about my issue.
Thank you.

- Poor draft and small ash pan

Stove won’t start using manual switch
I have a JOTUL gas fireplace GF 100 DV Nordic.
Ive used it for about seven years with no issues and then for a couple of months when I would go to turn the switch on, it wouldnt work. I tried a little bit later and it would work!
Now it doesnt work at all. I thought it was in the switch, but I had a friend help me find the receiver box behind the switch, and the two wires behind the black box wont spark when you touch them together.
A technician at Sky Tech said that if they wont spark, then that means I need a total technician to advise or figure out what needs to be fixed.
Can you help me? Who can I call as a technician to come out or advise me?

Verified ReviewerDefective paint
Bought a stove last winter and the paint is wearing off in several places. I don't feel like this should be happening. We are happy with how it burns but no so much with the aesthetics.

Verified ReviewerTerrible Warranty Support
Our stove is within the warranty period. It's had a minor problem since it was installed.
It would leak smoke through a particular seam during downdraughts.
We called the shop we purchased it from, and they came out today.
They took the stove apart, and determined that a bolt was missing.
They replaced the bolt, reassembled the stove, and presented me with a bill for $200, saying Jotul covered the rest.
Huh?
The stove is under warranty.
Stay away from Jotul.
I came here to post a review, and now I've read dozens of 1-star reviews. NO ONE is happy with this company.
Emission standards have changed for wood stoves, so most of their woodstove line has been dropped anyway.
