This shipper was arranged and paid for by my employer, so I didn't think to read reviews before using them. I wish now that I had and seen the many references to thievery.

I have never had a worse moving experience although I have moved numerous times all over the world over the past more than 20 years. I am witness to the truth of the other experiences of thievery. I had several brand new rather expensive household items stolen from the shipment by the packers. I discovered this after receiving the shipment, but I was very suspicious during the packing process.

They packed all three boxes in the basement but carried them out to the truck without sealing them. When they were supposedly already packed and began taping shut I happened to wander outside to the truck and saw one of the packers moving loose items around inside the truck. When I looked, it turned out they were some of my own belongings stashed in the back of the truck, and not in the boxes that were supposedly already completed packing and ready for taping closed.

The guy made some lame excuse and packed some of the things in front of me, but I later discovered a number of things missing. Don't use this company ever if you don't want to lose your things.

I had the misfortune of hiring this group of thieves and I regret having done so. Here is a list of things that they stole.

Six collectible knives, various gemstones, antique coins, a world/satellite portable radio, $1,000 worth of colognes, all of my kitchen utensils, as well as other things that I'm unaware of. I think that they may have even stolen a few pairs of my unused underwear. They played with my sporting equipment damaging one of my most expensive items. They opened up every little thing that they could possibly get their hands on looking for more money to steal, illegal or prescription drugs, gemstones, and anything else that they could put in their pockets.

Whomever decides to hire these scoundrels after reading these reviews will risk losing their property and having their furniture and other belongings broken or damaged. I could go on and on about how unprofessional and downright untrustworthy this group of people are but if these reviews don't convince you then, there is no hope for you or your belongings. Take my advice and hire someone else for your moving day.

Jones Moving and Storage is the worst moving company ever. I wouldn't recommend their services, not even to my worst enemy.
