Can't get appointment

After 5 months of trying to get an appointment through Susan Hilton I've finally been told they can't take me and to go back the doctors that wanted me to go to JH. I'm currently being treated for Stiffperson Syndrome and Vasculitis.

I'm in a wheelchair and the pain is unbearable to the point that they think it has turned into RSD. This is a bad pain syndrome. Thanks Susan Hilton and Johns Hopkins for caring about me. Shame on you for not helping me and allowing me to get worse.

Would you let one of your family members live in my condition?

BTW, my going to JH was preauthorized by my insurance co. I also was told by Susan Hilton that JH doesn't diagnose so if you're looking to be diagnosed don't waste your time calling JH.

John Hopkins

I called John Hopkins in May and spoke to Susan Hilton who told me to send all my medical records which i did some 110 pages of them .She told me after review she would get back in touch with me after there medical review team reviews them to determine who i should be seen by.I received a call back from her and was told the rhumatology didnt want to see me but neurology did.I am from n.y. and i have an undiagnosed medical condition whose symptoms are all neurological.Anyway she told me i was gonna be seen by a doc mora i believe her name was and the appointment would be in Aug.Well let me tell you i had my appointment on Aug 24th the doc was very nice but i wasnt going there for that..The records that i was told to send were never reviewed by this doc nor did she have them to review..I am simply appaled by this my wife and i drove 5 hours from n.y. paid for hotel accomadations and saw a doc in neurology who never saw my records,wasnt able to review them even tho i sent 110 pages of them and also had no answers for me..They need to get there act together and fast i am so very sick i told them this in may when i sent my records and here i am home still extremely sick with no answers whatsoever even tho they had all my records for review and didnt even review them.John Hopkins shame on you for such poor patient care..

I recently spent 5 months with this Susan Hilton trying to get an appointment only to be told that I should see the same doctors in my area that wanted me to go to JH. These doctors that want me to go to JH can't believe they won't take me and said they'll never recommend them to a patient again.

I have had the same problem exactly as you and it all started with Susan Hilton. This is not the best hospital that they claim to be. This Susan Hilton needs to be fired.
