*** Buyer Beware ***
I bought a 2016 Ford Edge here and everything was good till after the sale. During the test drive the Sync 3 was freezing up and my salesmen said it just needed an update and they would have that done but it had to go to a Ford dealer.
I bought the car and a few weeks later I finally got an appointment with a Ford dealer. They did a diagnostic on it to find out that the Ram was damaged by someone who tried to do an update not by a ford dealer. The Ford dealer called me to tell me it was going to cost $1500.00 to fix and that John Elway Chevrolet was only going to cover the diagnostic $180.00. I called John Elway and I was ignored by the sales department and the service department after calling numerous times I gave in and went to John Elway to find out why.
I get there to have my salesmen open the door for me so I asked what was going on and he had me take a seat and wait for the sales manager. The sales manager only wanted to find a ways to get out of paying for any of the repair instead of helping me. After disputing for an hour he decided to cover half.
So before my first car payment I had to pay almost $800 for a repair on a car that they sold me. I personally would avoid John Elway Chevrolet at all cost.

Great service with your chev. dealership managers
From: Eric Fears To: John Elway Date: Aug.6, 2019
I was looking for a new Camaro for my son. I went to several chevrolet.
dealerships before I went to John Elway dealership. When I walked in, I received a warm welcome and there was just a positive atmosphere about this dealership. Henry Clark was my salesman and did a good job. On that day I also met Joshua Betancourt that was the manager.
I explain to Joshua that Stevinson Chevrolet has a Camaro that I was interested in but it was a little over my budget. Joshua assured me that I was at the right dealership and he would do his best to make me happy. I really didn't come to your dealership to buy a car on that day but Joshua with his great personality made me want to get the car no matter what from John Elway Chevrolet. Its people like Joshua that makes a difference and you should be proud to have a person like him working for your dealership.
He will be the reason I would purchase another vehicle from your dealership. Several days later when I looked in my trunk I discovered that I was missing the air inflator kit. I went back to the dealership and asked for Joshua and he wasn't there but another Manager asked if he could help me and his name was Jason Somers. Jason was just as nice and helpful as Joshua .
Jason provided me with the kit in no time.
Both gentlemen are great guys and should be recognized in some form or fashion. Just to let you know I almost never write reviews but the experiences dealing with Joshua and Jason are second to none.

We were broke down 1 hr from John elway Chevrolet in englewood co the had the only part in the area we asked if the would bring us the part I offered to pay them the parts operation manager doubled check the part to make Sure we were getting the right part. What great people I would tell anyone in the area to go there The up and beyond what any other dealer would have done. Thanks for all the help from John elway Chevrolet
Resolved: Incorrectly fitted and crushed Oil filter
John Elway Chevrolet has written a letter indicating that if my car suffers and engine problem during its Hyundai warranty period and Hyundai does not cover. John Elway Chevrolet will cover the engine at their expense.
I in turn must have all my oils changes performed at an authorized Hyundai dealer.
I must also indicate my satisfaction on this and other review sites.
"Incorrectly installed and crushed oil filter"
John Elway Chevrolet Service performed a pre delivery oil and filter change November 2014. I had my next oil and filter change Jan 29th 2015 at a Hyundai dealer they brought me the crushed half of the centre hole was blocked. The Hyundai dealer indicated on my Invoice that the oil flow was not at normal levels, I sent photographs and the Invoice to Chris Cleavenger Jan 29th.I phone Chris on the 30th Jan to see his thoughts, he asked if he could contact me Feb 2nd as he must speak with the GM Josh Letsis.I waited for a phone call none came so I phoned Chris ,he asked if he can phone me Feb 3rd no call happened. I phoned him Feb 6th I spoke with Chris and Josh. They asked if they could phone me Feb 7th which they did but needed to speak with someone else so can they phone me Feb 9th. I have a Hyundai warranty on the car, I asked that John Elway Chevrolet Service provide a letter stating that if I had an engine problem related to the crushed Oil filter that John Elway Service would pay for the repair ( I of course would guarantee that all my Services would be done on time at my cost at a Hyundai Dealer). John Elway Chevrolet told me that they would not do this. But they would buy my car back and they would keep the dealer fees and sales tax etc. I don't believe I should lose money, I never asked for money from John Elway Chevrolet just some assurance that the Incorrect work they had done does not affect the life my engine during the warranty period as Hyundai Dealer has recorded the incorrectly fitted and crushed filter in my records. If I could post photographs and my Invoice on the review I would
Preferred solution: John Elway Chevrolet to write a letter that in case my engine suffers damage caused by the Incorrectly fitted and crushed oil filter they would cover the repair costs.I of course would guarrantee that the car was serviced on time at my cost at a Hyundai
I went in for the buy three get one free
I took my 2013 Chevy in four my third oil change. I a dodge caliber that I traded in to get the Chevy.
It was agreed upon since I hadalready paid for one oil change, I would buy two more and get one free. This is in Greeley Colorado. I went to tell the lady I pay forty dollars she said I had to pay one hundred andtwenty dollars for that deal.
They looked up the records saw where I did pay forty dollars and said I was bringing in coupons which was not true.I asked to speak to the manager but a guy in his office told him my story and his mind was already made up. I will never go to them again frocks.
My daughter purchased a new car from John Elway in Denver
My daughter Cynthia purchased a new car from the John Elway in Denver from the manager Chris. She originally purchased a used car from them and it kept breaking down.
It was a Chevy Malibu. Finally they replaced it but now are demanding $500 before releasing the date the Malibu was returned to them to Farm Bureau. My auto insurance has been suffering due to these guys. They said they faxed the information regarding the date to the Insurance Company several times but our agent never received it with the date the Malibu was returned to them.
This has gone on now for 4 or more months. I ended up having to pay another month of insurance on the car that had already been returned to them. How can they get away with this when my daughter made it clear she had no down payment. My daughter and I both are trying so hard to pay our bills on time and rebuild our credit.
This company has John Elway's name on it and yet they have treated my daughter like she' a worthless customer. She returned the car to them earlier this year and we've had nothing but trouble since then.
She makes her car payments on time, I am her co-signer. How can they treat folks like this?

High Pressure Sales / Poor Performace / Poor Customer Service
On October 10th 2012 I bought a 2012 Chevrolet 1500 quad cab 4x4 pickup
The truck had a dealer added 6” lift and 35x12.50 tires and 20” custom wheels. The dealer also added a programing kit which calibrated the speedometer to match the tire size.
I took the truck on a test drive around the local area. I found no problems with it on the short test drive. I offered to buy the truck and negotiated a price for the truck along with my trade in. I took delivery of the new truck and went home.
I live just a few miles west of the dealership. For the next few days I drove the truck back and forth to work which is just a few blocks from the dealership. On the weekend I took the truck on a drive to the mountains on I-70 west to go visit my in-laws which live in Silverthorne, CO. As I drove the truck up multiple hills I noticed the truck was shifting very frequently and was laboring as I climbed the hills and would not maintain speed limit.
On October 19th 2012 I took the truck back to the dealership with concern about how the truck operated. I spoke with Chris Cleavenger about this problem and offered a solution based on research I found online concerning tire size and correct gear ratio. I told Chris that due to the tire and the factory gear ratio of 3:42 that the correct gear ratio needed was 3:73's at the minimum. I asked if they would correct this problem and Chris said he would have to get with his general manager.
I did not get a call back from Chris about this problem and had to make another visit to the dealership to talk with Jimmy Lambert who the the general manager/partner and he told me that they had never had a problems with other trucks they have done this way and would not pay to have new gears installed. I told Jimmy that the truck was not shifting right and that the active fuel management system was also not working correctly due to the oversized tires they installed.
Jimmy Lambert offered to install the correct gears at his cost of 2,300.00 dollars. I told him that I should not have to pay for the gears due to the incomplete job they did installing aftermarket options on a brand new vehicle.
John Elway Chevy and Go Toyota
I would avoid the two dealerships above at all costs. My husband and I went into Go Toyota first and the sales man blatantly ignored me.
We had pre-approved financing through our bank and they refused to accept our terms. Then when they figured out that we were going to go through another company they started harassing us to come in and sign a so called deal they felt would work. The numbers just didn't add up with them. We went to John Elway's Chevy Dealership last night and the finance manager couldn't understand that we refused to take a car payment that would stretch us too thin.
Oh and to top it off the finance manager made the comment that if we agreed to the outrageous monthly payments they were offering us that we would get an autographed John Elway football. Ok, to most of us ladies out there that is DEFINITELY NOT a sale point for me. (No offense to Mr. Elway himself; but who cares about a signed football) My husband asked for the keys to his trade in back and they acted like it was a crime.
He knew they had already pushed my limits and didn't want to aggravate the situation anymore. The finance managers at both of these companies are rude and overly pushy. The economy today is rough enough without men like these two.
The fact that anyone is attempting to buy any kind of vehicle be it new or used in today's world is risky. People if you see these two dealerships run the opposite direction!

You were lucky to get anything. It is an As-is sell. If it was under warranty then it should of been bought then taken to the dealer for the update.
