Deceptive trade practice

I leased a Honda for 3 yr 36k. The dealership snuck in an additional warranty, which is totally unnecessary in a lease.

They had me sign and initial on a small iPad and did not include paperwork, but rather insisted on emailing the docs to me. Once I printed them at home, I realized that they added the extra warranty.

I cancelled the warranty that day (1/2/25).. I have yet to receive the $1750 that I am owed.

They are not only deceitful, but are very slow to respond, as they know that they are in the wrong.

Make 100% sure that they aren't ripping you off!

I have try to get the finance manager (Andres Escobar) to call me back for 3 days.

I just bought a car from John Eagle Honda in Dallas. The Finance Manager (Andres Escobar) explain to us the warranty of the car and the extra warranty we bought.

We get home, and we notice that he had put disability insurance and charge us $888.00 We were not informed of. I had called him several times, left messages for him to call us back, he has not returned any of our calls.

I need someone to help us with this problem. We do not need Disability Insurance nor want to pay $888.00.

BEWARE of HONDA CIVICs

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have had battery issues with my 2014 Honda Civic for over 6 months now. Replaced the battery two times.

The car drives well during the week, but if it is not driven on a Saturday or Sunday it wont start the following day. So, I have had to jump start the car every week to get to work. The dealership and HONDA state that I am not driving the car enough ( I drive about 40 to 50 miles each day) and that I need to drive more to keep the battery charged. I have never heard of such!!!

I understand that this is a modern vehicle, but jump starting my car once a week is not acceptable. They are not offering any assistance or resolutions.
