Serious Concern About My Recent Dining Experience

Dear Jim N Nicks Management,

Im writing to express my concern about a disappointing experience I had at your restaurant last night. I ordered the catfish fillet plate with collard greens and macaroni and cheese.

While eating, I found a long black hair on my fish. I knew it wasnt mine because my hair is a completely different color.

I immediately informed my server and showed them the hair. After checking, they returned and told me it was a piece of corn hair. Despite this explanation, I was still charged for the meal, and no manager ever came to my table to address the issue.

I was offered another plate, but by that time, I had lost my appetite and declined.

I found this situation unacceptable and very disappointing.

At a minimum, I expected the meal to be comped or a manager to apologize personally. Ive always enjoyed Jim N Nicks, but this experience really changed my impression of your service and food handling.

I hope someone from management can review this matter and follow up with me.

I understood that they are fairly new and with a new business there are workers coming and going. Some people fit and some don’t.

In the transition there’s going to be problems and I just happened to get the result of a problem. I was assured by management that they would be correcting it, so this won’t happen again.

I think that’s what it takes to make a good business great, feedback from the customers. Yesterday I was angry, because I’d spent my lunch and dinner money and was still hungry.

I went to the new Jim & Nicks in Spartanburg SC. I was very excited there was a JN close to me, because Id eaten at several locations in Ga, and they were so good.

Well to my surprise this location has a long way to go. My pulled pork sandwich was half fat, and the potatoe salad had a piece of waxed paper mixed in it. I also purchased the burger and the bun was soggy and the lettuce brown, plus I waited almost 20 minutes to get food that I could eat. So I ended I eating the fries they were pretty good, but how can you mess up fries.

Jim & Nicks @ this location for me , its a No! They will never serve me anything again.I

The ribs was dried out the bake potato was hard as a brick i called the manager was rude in hung up the phone in my face jim n nicks was my favorite bbq spot but after this bad experience I'm done

The food was horrible I eat here 2 to 3 times a week never experienced this the manager was rude hung up in my face I'm never eating here again I believe she was racist

Sigh here we go again, another IDIOT claiming racial profiling because you did not get what you want. If the manager hung up on you it was probably because YOU were RUDE and he did not want to deal with you.

How is the manager to know your racial background by a phone conversation if he cannot see you.

For all you know you and the manager could be of the same background. It is obvious that you are ASHAMED of your racial background.
