2013 I sport clutch squeaking

Update by user May 20, 2016

I think they are trying to stall till the 3 year warranty runs out, then make me pay for a new clutch

Original review posted by user May 19, 2016
I bot a Mazda3 Sport from Jim Ellis in Dec 2013. Clutch started squeaking in summer 2014. I have taken car back 3 times, Jim Ellis acknowledges clutch is squeaking but refuses to correct problem. I think they are waiting for my warranty to expire so they can charge me 2000+ for a new clutch. I have retained a lawyer and will try that route. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER AS THEY DO NOT FULFILL THEIR OBLIGATIONS. This is the 2nd car (and the last, of course) that I will be purchasing from this dealer. I will also tell others not to buy from this unreliable dealer. I want my clutch fixed.

Rock "took out" air conditioner, Mazda uses discontinued tires on 2012 car!

I got a flat tire in my 2012 Mazda Miata one week and it just so happened that my air conditioner went out that same week (or so I thought). Well road hazards such as this nail are not covered by my full coverage insurance or the tire manufacturer says the dealership, so I had to buy a new tire. The Yokohoma tires on the Mazda, purchased at Jim Ellis Mazda in Marietta, Georgia, I found to be discontinued ALREADY! Sure you could find them if you searched online long enough and for $200 for one tire. While the dealership turned me down on replacing the car's tire as a courtesy to a new buyer (bought the car in March 2012), I asked them "well will you at look at my air conditioner and see why it is not cooling why I am here at the service dept?" Sure they said. Result? A rock "took out the air compressor" and no that is not covered either. They handed me an estimate with a smile for $1,061.00. How would you feel right about now about your new Mazda? It was depressing to say the least. The new car and fun was just taken away in one fell swoop. What kind of *** engineer would design an air compressor that can be taken out AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT? Sure, I will eventually have the money to fix the air conditioner for Georgia's very hot summers, but not soon! Technically, why should I fix it if a rock "can take it out on any given road and any given time, costing me OVER $1,000 EACH AND EVERY TIME!!!!! Mazda Miata's SUCH IN THIS REGARD, can render you broke if you drive it too much and the dealer does not care one iota, they have my money. My Advice? DON'T BUY A MAZDA.

This report is ridiculous. We have a 1996 Miata we've driven over 200,000 miles and it's now 19 years old.

We have NEVER had an air conditioner problem. It was no doubt some kind of freak occurrence. A rock can always break anything. Also you wanted them to replace your tire as a 'courtesy'?

Nails through the tire are obviously not a warranty item.

You sound like a nightmare customer. Get it fixed and enjoy it, it's an awesome car, we've driven ours all over the country with no issues whatsoever.

Yeah well you weren't the one put out with a 3 month old car with two major occurrences. Get a life.

That's true, but neither occurrence was the fault of the car or the dealer. Don't be ridiculous.

You could have been struck by lightening too.

Would you blame that on the car and/or dealer?
