I don't know what some of these reviewers are rating but it's not Jewelmint! I've been buying from them for a few years (it's been my go-to gift resource) and I have absolutely no complaints!! I have been more than happy with the service, quality and the point system is incredible. I've gotten many beautiful items at no cost at all!! I love this company and am wondering what's happened to them... As I've done for several years, I've been trying to get on their site to do some Christmas shopping but can no longer get on their site. Have they gone out of business???

VERY unhappy with this company!
I received an offer from MyPoints (a GREAT service!) offering me points on my account for placing an order on JewelMint. I placed an order on 6/14/2013 for a bracelet for my wife. I wasn't aware that I was also signing up for some type of subscription service until I was charged $29.99 to my credit card on 8/06/2013. When I called to cancel this subscription and have my $29.99 refunded, they refused to refund my money, telling me about their terms and conditions. I'll never purchase another item from them again, and I'll inform MyPoints of the company they're aligning themselves with.
I purchased a wrist watch from JewelMint (CHEAP looking Generic junk). At no time during my purchase did I see anything that stated I was enrolling in a membership, let alone having my bank account information used again and again for further charges. I was charges $29.99 for two months before I realized that they were charging me fraudulently (without my permission). They make it very difficult to cancel. I am still trying to cancel. STAY AWAY! BEWARE! MAJOR RIPOFF!At no time during my purchase did I see anything that stated I was enrolling in a membership, let alone having my bank account information used again and again for further charges.
Correct Street Number Needed/Returned to Sender
First of all I just wanted to state that this has happened to me TWICE now. First time it happened they sent me a postcard saying that they were trying to get a hold of the correct street address and that they WOULD SEND ME A POSTCARD TO MY SHIPPING ADDRESS! If they have the address which they can send the postcard too why can't they send me my package? Answer: INCOMPETENT DRIVERS! Also that postcard said that I had 1 week which is fair BUT I got the postcard A DAY AFTER THAT WEEK WAS UP! So my items, which I had only been contacted ONCE got sent back to sender. Second time, I HAD CHECKED ONLINE, it said again that it'll send me a postcard. I never got any postcard and seeing as it is Christmas Eve I don't believe I'll receive it anytime soon. YET AGAIN PACKAGE GOT SENT BACK TO SENDER! WHAT THE *** IS UP WITH UPS?! HOW CAN THEY SEND ME "POSTCARDS", NOT ACTUALLY CONTACT ME IN ANY HELPFUL MANOR (IN WHICH DOESN'T INVOLVE MYSELF TRACKING MY ITEMS ON MY OWN), AND YET NOT HAVE THE CORRECT STREET ADDRESS?! Both packages were gotten from sites that I had gotten packages from BEFORE that were DELIVERED to my house properly! Both packages were ALSO items that were limited or on clearance, hence why I bought them online rather than in-store! So now I can't get ANY of the items that I paid good money for!

Jewelmint's Customer Service Has Gone Downhill
I've been a Jewelmint customer since they started up, and was very happy overall with the products. I recently ordered a ring and when it arrived it had a big scratch on the top. I also wasn't super thrilled with the quality on that one, so I contacted customer service by email and they apologized and assured me that they would send out a free return label and as soon as the ring came back, they would gladly replace with the other ring that I preferred. I sent the ring back with the original invoice and specified in HUGE letters the item I wanted to exchange it for. After a few days, I received a note saying they had replaced the defective ring for another one of the exact same style (the one I DIDN'T want. I sent them yet another email and explained that I wanted an exchange for a different item and that I had made that very clear on the return form. They told me since the ring had already been sent out they would send yet ANOTHER return label and they would send me the item I wanted as soon as they got it back. I asked if there was anything I could do to prevent this mess in the future and he told me "well, you should just exchange it for the same model". The same day I got the unwanted replacement I sent it back AGAIN specifying what I wanted in exchange. I just discovered the item I wanted has since sold out. I am cancelling my subscription this month. It's not worth the hassle to buy from them.
I purchased some bracelets that from this company online. After like three weeks, they charged me $29.99. I waited for the business to open and gave them a call. I sat on hold for about 15 minutes because they had "so many" callers. Probably calling all about the same thing. When someone actually picks up the phone, she is so rude. She(Whitney) makes it sound like its my fault and told me that I didn't read the disclaimer before I purchased the item. She stated that in the "disclaimer", it states that it will automatically charge you $29.99 a month..wtf! For what?? She then told me she would credit me back and then hung up on me with no confirmation or anything. If I don't see the credit back on my card within a week, I'm writing a complaint with someone higher up. I wrote a claim with my bank just to make sure I get my money back. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!
