I brought my vehicle in today for a recall. I needed the passenger-side airbag replaced.
I got there ten minutes early, and checked in and then began waiting. Since I had checked in, I expected someone to come out and greet me. Nobody did. After waiting 20 min.
I think someone overheard me talking to another woman waiting, and that neither of us had been helped, and then we were given attention. I was told it would take two hours. After waiting 4 and a half hours, and not getting any responses to my texts, I found my representative. He found the technician, and told me he didn't have the part.
I wasted four and a half hours for nothing, and lost a day of work. Terrible customer service, and I will never go back, or buy a car from them!

I am contacting you regarding my recent frustrations regarding Jessup Auto Plaza. I made an appointment for a recall on my 2011 Chevy Cruz, as well as a hyperactive cooling fan for Saturday December 8th.
That Saturday at the dealership I was told by Mario Quintero that mechanics said the hyperactive cooling fan was normal but the recall would be taken care of. I then assured my service representative that the cooling fan was not normal; that it comes on every 10 seconds the car is running. After further inspection they found the problem was a clogged condenser and leaking water pump. After the recall was taking care of I was told they can make another appointment for Tuesday and have a rental ready in order to repair the other problems.
Furthermore Mario stated that the water pump will be covered under warranty and the condenser cost will be covered. I informed Mario that it would be difficult to take work off because of working in the Marine Corps but I will still make the appointment. When I arrived at the auto shop on Tuesday December 11, I was told that I must be 25 yrs old for a rental, but they would have my vehicle complete by 1700. I told Mario I have already taken off work and got my children out of school early, so I had no choice but to stay.
At 1400 I was told that the condenser would cost me approximately $180.00 to complete, earlier being told the cost would be taken care of. It’s hard enough making ends meet at this time of year but I told him to just complete it. At 1430 I was told they ordered the wrong water pump and I would have to reschedule to have my vehicle completed. After explaining my frustration I made the appointment for the following Saturday.
My family waited there from 1330 to 1730 and watched doors lock-up and gates close before I was told that my vehicle would not be finished that day. I waited and additional 30 min to find out what was going to happen with coordination for a vehicle to take my family home. At 1800 I was told if I have a credit card then I could get a rental car from the rental department. After closing Ms.
Maria was able to stay and make sure I was set up with a rental. With all these inconveniences I’m sure you can understand my frustration.
(The Recall; Told the hyperactive cooling fan was normal; additional appointment and having to *** work; Unable to get a rental; paying for the condenser after being told the cost would be covered; wrong water pump and another appointment; finding out my vehicle will not be finished that day and wondering what we were to do, and waiting there until close).
Additionally many items were left in my car such as my cover needed for work, GPS for ease of driving and phone chargers.

I have been doing business at Jessups for years. They are great.
I found this website by accident and cant believe it exists. Can you say slander? I swear this world has become filled with complainers who usually are just working the system. Websites like this just promote that no matter what they say.
I would recommend never advertising on or visiting this website. If any of these people had a just claim they would seek it through legal channels rather than posting on a website in an anonymous manner.
I see none of them leave their real name. Cowards!
Warrenty work
I had brought my 03 Chevy Duramax in for leaking injectors that are under GM warrenty for 200k miles.
I am well read on the nuances of the vehicle and explained to the Service manager that the injectors were leaking fuel into the cylnders and into the crankcase, filling it up and blowing out the vent. They did not replace any injectors and removed the transmission and replaced the rear main seal.
In the process of removing the trans.
They broke the module that tells what gear the tranny is in.
They replaced it and tried to bill me for the repair. 1100.00.
Sent me on my way and I had another failure 1 week later.
I took it to Champian Chevrolet in La Quinta,
Where I had originally bought the vehicle and they replaced the injectors and I have not had any problems since.
I have purchased 3 40k+ vehicles from Jessup and will never return.
Do not buy at Jessup Auto Plaza!
Do not buy here unless you want to get ripped off. The people here are very incompetent and rude.
Don't learn the hard way like I did. They sold a vehicle that I had purchased and paid for to another customer while it was awaiting transport. This is not even legal. When I called the guy to ask about it and ask if this is how they always do business, the guy was a *** and hung up on me.
Save yourself the headache and go to a reputable dealer. This place is unethical.
They perpetuate the stereotype of car dealers being dishonest.
