Yesterday, afternoon I visited Jenny's Supply Store located in DeSoto, TX, off of I-35 and Pleasant Run Road. While in the store, I noticed employees standing behind the register talking and laughing, not really working or trying to assist customers.
I asked about braiding hair, and the employee pointed to the counter, where two other employees were. The female employee was rolling up her hair. I asked the first employee if the female employee was working, and she said, "Yes, that is the hair area". I walked over, and the female employee was sitting at the counter, brushing, combing, mousseing, and rolling up her hair in large rollers, while the male employee was sitting there looking down at his phone.
I asked for assistance on where to locate the hypoallergenic braiding hair and the female employee stopped rolling her hair long enough to point in the general direction of where the hair should be and turned and went back to rolling her hair up. I walked away and tried to find what I was looking for in the direction that she pointed, since it was obvious that she was not going to get up to show me where. I did not find the hair, but while back there looking for the hair, another customer was complaining how she could not find anything either and how unhelpful the employees were. I agreed with her and continued to look for my items.
The male employee finally came into the area and assisted the first customer, and she brought him around the aisle to assist me. I told him that I could not find the hair that I was looking for, and he went back up to the counter where the young lady was rolling her hair and asked her again. He came back and mumbled something to me...long story short, I located the hair. As I was walking the aisle looking for another item, a customer was exiting the store when her bag with her purchases caused the door alarm to go off.
The Security guy on duty (a very large African American guy with braids or twists in his hair) looked around from his seat and asked her if she had purchased any hair, and she said no. He stated, "Aw you good." and told the customer to go ahead and leave. The Security guy never got up to check her bag or anything and was laid back all sprawled out in his chair, very unconcerned. It was at this moment that I decided not to purchase anything at this store and simply told my mom I was ready to go.
I don't know who is managing this location, but the "I don't care attitude of the employees is simply alarming and disappointing.
This is only the 3rd or 4th time I have visited this location, and the last time I was there, an employee was standing at the register in front of all the customers, cursing out presumably her boyfriend on the phone while the customers stood in line and listened to the conversation. I just think that management, or whoever is responsible for this location, needs to be aware of the employees' behaviors.

After realizing that the product I'd bought was opened, I called the store for 30 minutes, but received no answer. I drove back there and was told that I had opened this product, and that I needed to call corporate.

Brought a item today didnt need item so tried to return it same day unopened and was told it was final sale even though my receipt states only discounted items are final sale ask for the manager Chinese guy stated he is the manager and despite the policy on receipt they did nothing to help and I was never told at the register that I couldnt return my items

This store located at 4343 Gannon Ln #100, Dallas 75237 is rotten to the core. I always purchase multiple wigs from this location because I dont live close.
I purchased 3 wigs and 2 of the 3 were not the correct wigs. One of wig was not what I purchased , as the wig WAS NOT the wig that was pictured on the box. When I went to go talk to the manager he was looking like an *** The manager was not trying to hear anything I had to say in regards to the issue, and acting like he didnt care me as a customer and what I was trying to explain. I showed him the picture of the wig on the box was not the wig that I was wearing.
In addition when I went to put on the third wig it was previously worn by customer, that had been placed in the box I went there and show them exactly what was in the box, and that it was not a brand new wig as it had already been worn. This *** *** Asian Manager didnt wanna do anything about it but yet they come over here in America to get all kinds of *** free and go into the black community where the Black people spent all their dollars each and every day and they dont to be courteous towards a customer when they in the wrong.
All I wanted was to get the correct wig that I purchased, I didnt even want a refund, just a wig replacement to be satisfied, and his crooked *** wouldnt even do that. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE anything else from Jennys.
Preferred solution: All I wanted was to exchange the previous worn wig(not by me) for a brand new wig that I originally purchased

Extremely Unprofessional Workers
On 10.14.23 at the Gannon/DeSoto location an extremely Unprofessional employee claiming to be a manager was very rude and belligerent. I was appalled to find that Jenny beauty supply has these types of people representing their company, especially for management.
She couldn't have been any more than 19 years old, if that, but Klarissa or Clarissa made verbal threats and escalated a rather simple issue opposed to de-escalating and showing professionalism. She literally threatened and became provocative while working behind the register at this establishment. That's aside from her overstepping her bounds re: a $2 pack of hair so the situation wasn't that serious to begin with- until she, for lack of judgement, made it that way.
This establishment has no problem taking certain people's money yet they hire and retain staff like this to be unprofessional, condescending and flat out rude with customers. I plan to follow up with the DeSoto Chamber of commerce and other TX entities re: this establishment.

I was overcharged for items that I didnt buy in store. I tried calling and no one answered.
My next step is to file with BBB and then get a lawyer. I refuse to shop at any Jennys Beauty Supply Store ever again!!!

I was overcharged for items I did not buy. I call the store and they will not answer the phone.
I go to this store too much to be taken advantage of. Please check the prices and make sure they are not scanning items or charging for items that you do not have.
I called customer service and they will not answer either. This is very poor customer service on both of their behalf.

Customer service at Jennys on 4343 Gannon Ln #100, Dallas, TX 75237 check out was very unprofessional and rude her name is Latare or Latara ( super long nasty looking finger nails) stated that she was the manager her tone is rude. She displays attitude and throwing your items towards you, she don't even say thank you for coming She is not Management material
Rude Cashier, Rude Manager
Patronized Jenny Beauty Supply on Gannon in Dallas Texas, the cashier was rude i felt threatened. When I complained to the manager about not being professional.
her response was that is just how the cashier speaks to the public and she could not tell her how to talk.
Neither of those two own the business, and when i spend my money, i expect more. Never again, manners attitude are everything in this world and those two will not get any farther than they are right now with that Disrespect.

Daniel, your manager said over the telephone that you close at 6:00 pm. I spoke to him at 5:40.
My husband and I arrived at 550. They were already closed. Daniel spoke to us rudely. I guess I'll take my $$$ back to Sally's.

Do not purchase electrical items from Jenny's Beauty Supply! Junk!
Jenny should be ashamed. You sell garbage to the African American community and you give nothing back! In mid-February 2013 I purchased a Gold N Hot Hooded Bonnet Hair Dryer from Jenny's Beauty Supply Superstore on Gannon Ln in Dallas, TX. The dryer felt light and flimsy once I got it home and out of the box but it worked. On Sunday April 7, 2013, I turned on the dryer for about 10 mins to heat up before using it and all of a sudden the dryer just dies. On i I immediately called the Jenny's Beauty Supply on Meadowbrook in Fort Worth, TX, which was closer to my home and explained to them what happened. I still had my original receipt so I took the dryer to the Meadowbrook location and exchanged it. Around May 5, 2013, I attempt to use the replacement dryer and nothing happens when I turn it on. I immediately go online and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and 22 days later this is the email that I received from the BBB:

Jenny's sells electrical items that are pure JUNK and they give you a very hard time when trying to get a refund. STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE BUT ESPECIALLY FOR ELECTRICAL ITEMS.
