Do not use Jenkins Plumbing in Mechanicsville, Va
Jenkins Plumbing was sub-contracted by the marble company we used. Bubba & William Jenkins were paid $400 to install our new vanity sink & faucet and kitchen sink, faucet & disposal. On 9/22/2011 they did the install. They did not re-attach our gas stove like I was told And after they left, my dishwasher started to leak & not drain. I gave it a few days and it only got worse! I called Classic Marble & they gave me the phone # for the plumbers. I called Jenkins plumbing and over the phone they tried to brush me off. They did come out last night 9/30/2011 spent 5 minutes looking around. Claimed it was not their fault then proceeded to charge me a $75 service fee! I was informed on the phone that IF the problem was their fault, they would fix it no charge. But if it was THE dishwasher, then they would charge me $75 to FIX it. They did not fix it. I refused to pay. I felt that they should have stood behind their quality of work. I said I would have paid them the $75 service fee if they had fixed it. Then Bubba Jenkins called me a *** after he told me to keep my money! He stood aggressively in my face & hunched his shoulders towards me! He told him to get out of my house. When he left, he shouted, "ma'am, I hope your toilet overflows!" How old are these men? Shouldn't they stand behind their work? I guess they feel it is okay to over charge stay at home moms, not perform quality work then verbally abuse them! Not cool! I want everyone to know how they treated me!
