I now have received three claims from separate debt collection agencies in the UK for an outstanding balance. I have demonstrated on each occassion that this bill has been issued incorrectly and I am desperately looking for a resolution to this.
In brief;
I have never opened or held an account with Spark Energy or SSE
SSE, as creditor, have confirmed that they have no record or interest in recovery of this spurious debt
The amount of the outstanding balance is an accumulation for late payment of a bill for £41.57 issued by Spark Energy issued to the address 18 months after I sold the property and never sent to my registered address.
I do not know how my name got attached to it and I have not been registered at that address since 2004. I first saw a copy of this bill via email in January 2021 (Bill attached) during my first dealings with this issue.
I have not lived at or used the address referred to on the bill since 2004, and sold the property in January 2019 18 months prior to the issuing of the first bill
I am looking for a resolution to this such that the matter is fully dropped and the details removed from your system as soon as possible

I am trying to reach someone about a collection being reported on my credit report. I have attempted to call but keep getting a recorded message stating that my account is being handled by an outside agency.
I call the number provided and that agency does not have any record of me. Please advise me on what to do next.

I'm TRYING to get some info on a bill I was unaware I even had let alone even think it's mine but the fact I can't reach anyone makes me think this is a scam. Whoever checks this place out do so carefully a lot of bad reviews about them.

Feb 2022 - after posting this review/alert i never heard from this "business" again. My hunch must've been right that this was a scam!
They claim i owe them $2k.
Never heard of them or related business. Then for fees and interest they magically assess another $500. If it was ever proven i owed this debt i would care. Since tho i have no idea who they are or who they "represent" i don't care one bit.
I no longer call any debtor trying to figure things out. I want and need written correspondence so i can show a judge or attorney and stop them from harming me and others. There are very few verifications businesses use to actually know who the correct debtor is. In this it is clearly not me.
So, until i have something actually verifying this is my debt in hand or in email format, i don't care what they try to do. Way way to many scams out there to believe some generic piece of paper.
