AI Highlights
  • - Positive experience with Voss Toyota and Lou Cousineau.
  • - Issues with Jeff Wyler Springfield service: tire rotation denial and record concerns.
Original review updated Jul 13, 2023

I purchased a Toyota RAV4 in 2019 from Voss Toyota. Never had an issue with Voss, as a matter of fact, customer service and sells rep (Lou Cousineau) were awesome.

I live in Springfield, Ohio.

Therefore, I thought it would be more convenient to have my Toyota serviced at Jeff Wyler, Springfield.

When I took the RAV4 in for 5000 mile maintenance, the service manager suggested the Wyler care package and explained how it would save money.. Granted, I had purchased new wheels (summer of 2020) since purchasing the vehicle. The service department manager commented on how nice the wheels looked with my make and model. style="background-color:

In June 2023 I take my Toyota into Jeff Wyler Springfield for 5000 mile maintenance.

They take my vehicle back to start service. The girl that checked me in comes out and states, They cant rotate your tires or balance them because we will need your wheel lock key. I had no clue what she was talking about. As Ive been taking it there and they have been rotating my tires.

Right? WRONG!!

Service girl looked it up in the computer and said it is documented that they had been rotated

Im stressed since my tires have not been rotated in over 2 yrs. Although, Jeff Wyler Springfield has documentation that they were rotated. Super sad how these companies are so dishonest.

As a woman, I dread taking my car for anything. Simply for this very reason.

The girl at the service center also told me that if I have a flat tire, I wont have anyway to change it. She stated, Once you get a wheel lock key, we will mark your tires with chalk to make sure they are rotated. Huh???

I will say, she was trying to make every attempt to help but the mechanic had the power there.

I couldnt believe my ears.

Meanwhile, Im riding around in those same tires trying to get (A WHEEL LOCK KEY).

Truly makes me wonder if they ever changed my oil or did anything else they claimed to do.

Super sad.

On the last multiple point inspection, they didnt even check the brakes.

Im looking for the Wyler care package recipient and other maintenance.

They have it in their computer, so I requested copies. Ill let you know how the saga unfolds.

Loss:
$400
Pros:
  • Mackenzie the service care manager
Cons:
  • Once trust is broken

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Stop ripping people off. I’m driving around in an unsafe vehicle because of your dishonesty.
