*** Jeep paint

I bought a brand new Jeep Compass- black solid. It has glue type substance embedded under the top clear coat, heaps of fisheye type blemishes all over both sides and terrible orange peel affect. The dealer won't refund me now I have to fight them in court. This is completely unacceptable for a brand new car. Check your car thoroughly before you hand over any money! They say that it happened in the factory - must be a very dirty factory to have so many blemishes in the paint!

Accelerationdefect not fixed

Robert, I assume you are limited in what you can do. This is unacceptable that fault has gone on for so long. It is unsafe and if it results in an accident I will take legal action. Further to this it is poor customer service which I intend to publicise. Further to this my car has been serviced by either Northern Motor group or Essendon Jeep as per the service schedule since new but the service log has only been completed for the first 2 services. Thanks Ryan Brand ________________________________________ From: Ryan Brand Sent: Thursday, 28 February 2013 8:14 AM To: 'service.albion@***.com.au' Subject: JK Wrangler XQW-954 Attention Albion Jeep Service, My 2010 JK Wrangler is booked in for a couple of warranty items to be fixed on Tuesday the 5th of March. The first item is for a part of the hand brake lever that needs to be replaced this was identified at the last service at Essendon Jeep in Victoria. At this service I also highlighted an ongoing problem with the car loosing power and failing to accelerate, when I picked the car up I was informed that an induction hose was loose and they thought they had fixed the problem. I can assure the problem has not been fixed and this was the third time I have reported it. The first time I reported it I took a technician for a drive and could not replicate the fault. I left the car with Essendon jeep for the day and when I picked it up they informed me they had updated the transmission software. The next time I reported the same was fault was at the subsequent service at around 60000k’s when I picked up the car I was told they could not replicate the fault and nothing was done. As I was driving from Melbourne to Brisbane I was pleased when Essendon Jeep told me at the 70000k service that they had found something and thought they had fixed this fault finally. I believe this fault is an electrical problem as it has resulted in the malfunction indication light coming on and the fault is intermittent. I can not overstate the seriousness of this defect as on several occasions during my drive from Melbourne I was forced to pull on to the side of the ride where the was no emergency lane on 100km/hour highway and turn the engine off and on to clear the fault. This is clearly dangerous. This is a warranty issue and I am extremely disappointed that it has gone on this long, please be prepared to fix this defect in timely manner and a loan car would be appreciated if my car will be unavailable for an extended period. Thanks Ryan

...you leave it with them for a day to diagnose this? you need to leave it for a week.

and also, 100km/h is nothing. and on the side of a highway? ive changed cps, coils, plugs, you name it on the side of highways.

either let them work on it or grow a pair and fix it. dont blame the company.
