Specific date on vehicle value can not be put in on web page
Insurance company says they get vehicle value from JD Power, but the value does not match what I got from the JD Power web page. There is a massive difference in price.
I can not put the date of value need for the accuracy to verify my dispute with the insurance company. Understandable they possibly may charge for this feature to the insurance companies.
If they do charge, they should give normal people at least three free dates to put in. If they do not, the date input should be an available option when obtaining the value for this reason.

I have a 2022 Ram 2500, gas truck. I pulled the headache rack of my 2010 Ram and put it on my 2022 Ram.
At 34,000 miles, I noticed 2 parallel splits on the truck bed, where the front post drops in, on the drivers side. I started asking around and several people with racks and tool boxes are having the same issue, including a large logging company out of Fort Bragg, Ca. They said it happened to all their late model Ram trucks. The dealers won't acknowledge or fix the problem.
I requested they fix it, as it was still under warranty. They refused, stating the after market rack caused the problem and isn't covered under the warranty. I asked them to put it in writing and they refused. Have you heard of this issue before?
If it's happening here, it's got to be everywhere. The auto body shop that I went to said the only way to repair it was to replace the bed for approximately $7,000.00. I paid $64,000 for a work truck and it's falling apart before it's even 2 years old. Any idea how I might remedy the situation.
I believe that the consumers should aware of this issue. I'll never buy another Ram.

Hello,
I am in desperate need to get a secured loan using my 1992 Land Rover Defender 110 dual cab pick up as collateral. Its appraised value ranges between $135-$250k.
When I have gone to the banks and credit unions that each use JD Power valuation online tool, however, JD Power does not list this as an existing auto in its database the only make and model for that year in the system is Range Rover classic with a valuation of around $33,000. I showed many comparable Defenders of that same year and model across the USA for sale or had been sold and they each said that they can only lend on the value of the Range Rover despite it being wildly different in every possible way.
And the truck sat outside their windows that they could see it is obviously not what was on their screen and that my truck does in fact exists and is a collectors piece. I am looking for any assistance or guidance in this matter that you could lend.

Preferred solution: The year make and model of my vehicle listed on their valuation online database, so that lenders will give me a fair a full assessment and valuation so that I may use it as collateral to get a secured loan.

I think J D Powers passes out awards like passing out candy on Halloween if you want one they will give you onewill
Every Automaker has at least 7 J D Powers awards. Make it hard to pick when they pass them out like that h___ make them earn them.
Makes you wonder what is really going on with them make earn the award and only one of each type per year. I'm not saying J D power is all bad just that they need to make it a bit harder to receive and only one award for each category.
Like car of the year award and Motor trend!! get it if every auto maker has the same award what good is it.

Consumer Cellular ads always site JD Powers #1 rated award for cell service. example of your top rated cell company.

- pricing is great but folks should know truthfully what they will be getting.
