My appointment was bumped, and Sue at the reception desk did not know why her coworker had put one patient ahead of me. I waited to see Dr. Coop who did a marvelous job along with Sue. I would return giving them an opportunity to get it right.

Jcpenney Optical Eye Exam Review

Made an appointment for my wife and I for an eye exam. The appointment was made a week in advance. The optical department called me when we were enroute to our exams to tell us the doctor doing exams would not accept Eye Med insurance. This was after they had already insured us of our coverage. Very disappointing experience.

Do not buy glasses-go anywhere but JCPenny! The facility that makes glasses is in New Jersey-THE ONE FACILITY!! this means your glasses take what they say will be "2-3 weeks" but is really like 5-6 weeks and trust me probably longer with the upsells on the glasses! You would be better off going to local location that makes your glasses in state if not in the store. Also DO NOT purchase their warranty-because if your glasses do break the manager...

I'm on my second set of scratched up progressive bi-focal lenses in less than a year's time with these cheaply made, but overly priced glasses from JCPenney in Eastview Mall, Victor, NY. In 30 years, I've NEVER had to replace glasses for scratches. Of course, I bought their replacement insurance for $35 I can keep replacing the crappy lenses. JCP hasn't heard the end of it! This was my experience with JC Penney Optical. They took forever to get to me- and there were no other customers there. When they finally did serve me, they dId not know their own products, and they rang me up wrong. They did not know how to correct their mistakes either- and it was a disaster and it took more time.
