Jc yard service did a fantastic job for me.

I contracted JC Yard Service to install 3 retaining walls. Perform a massive yard cleanup, and install a water feature on my back yard patio. There price actually ended up being lower than the estimated cost. I have to say I have never dealt with a more honest company. I would say if you are looking for quality professional landscaping then choose JC Yard Service they were great! They really make dreams come true. I know that sounds Corny but they were really great. The installers were all super nice guys who did great work. We were really happy with JC Yard Service

J.C. Yard Service bid more than doubles after grant approved.

Our neighborhood receieved a bid from J.C. Yardservice in Everett, WA to clear weeds and shrubs from a storm pond. They provided a bid of $1,500 on Jan. 15, 2008 at which time we informed them we were submitting the bid to the City of Renton where we were applying for a neighborhood grant. When the grant was approved, I called them to let them know we got the grant and to schedule the work. They sent another estimator out on May 15th, 2008 to look at the job and submitted a new bid of $3,600. When asked why it more than doubled in price after learning we got the grant from the city, they said it was because of new growth. Keep in mind we had an extremely cold January through March and there was very little “new growth”. Being a reasonable person I offered to give them a 20% increase ($400) to cover the new growth. After 5 phone calls, with their reply usually being “I’ll talk to the owner and call you back today”, I have yet to hear from them. They refuse to talk with us. This is underhanded and disreputable. I would advise anyone NOT to do business with this company.

I worked with JC Yard service and know first hand how they lie and decive homeowners with a get there foot on the property bid and then the actual cost once work is done. Look around and find a trustworthy company to do buissness with this is not it.

I own a house and business in Edmonds and have had both properties completely reworked by J.C Yard Service. Each time they have done a fantastic job and been more than fair on the price.

On each property they had an estimator come out and he stuck to his price with no over-run costs, being a business owner I know that is very rare to find in a yard service/construction company. I encourage people to try out J.C. Yard Service and decide for themselves about the company. In response to the "pissed consumer" above, it states that the first estimate was in January and the second one in May..

That is five months..!! Almost half a year..!!.. I know if I let my properties go untended for 5 months then there would be quite a bit of new growth.. I once again encourage people to decide for themselves and not listen to a "pissed consumer" or even myself.

Be your own judge and don't trust a misleading headline that should say "J.C. Yard Service bid doubles 5 months after original bid because 5 months of growth were allowed on property.."
