AI Highlights
  • - Tried to order from their website over the past few years.
  • - They advertise watches they don't have; prices may differ; false advertising; go to DavidSW.

Tried to order from their website a few times over the past few years. Looks like they advertise watches they don't have since no luck in getting one actually purchased at the advertised price.

When I called, they would say well, we can check and see if it's in stock, but may be at a different price. This is now way to sell watches or any other product ...I'd call it false advertisement as a watch that shows available should be available and at the price it is advertised on the website. Bad experience more then once ...

DO NOT BOTHER. Go to DavidSW instead.

  • - Disrespectful staff; price changed before payment.
  • - Rude call; they hung up without explanation and a worker is accused of racism.
Jaztime Jewelers - Racist and rude customer service!

Very disrespectful guy that works there. They agreed on a price and then decided to change their minds later at the last moment before payment would be made.

Call to discuss what happened, and the guy used a rude tone and hanged up the phone without explanation!

Stay away from this business because they will either try to scam you, be indecisive with pricing, outright rude with assisting a customer. The little boy working at this store needs a lesson in manners and need to stop being racist!

User's recommendation: No, I would not recommend at all!

Jaztime Jewelers - Rude company

JazTime replied: "I don't want u as our customer *** off"

Very unprofessional and obscene online staff, 0 stars if it was possible. I sent multiple emails today, trying to simply acquire the year and a cash price of a 43mm Sea-Dweller 2-tone.

It seemed simple enough, but they would not answer my questions. How difficult is it to answer a customer!?

After I commented that I would be making negative reviews based upon my experience, I received the above response. Thank you for proving my point!

Rude and shady business, did not deliver the Rolex I purchased.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Order #104956 for a Polar Explorer 2; unavailable.
  • - They offered a white Explorer with no box/papers for $1,000 extra.
  • - Rude, unprofessional staff.

I would not buy from Jaztime.com

I just had a horrible experience with this company. I placed an order on their site for a Polar Explorer 2.

I received a confirmation of the order and called to get the wire transfer instructions. The person who answered asked for my order number then said they do not have the watch I ordered, a Rolex with Box and Papers for order #104956. I asked how that can be, that they do not have the watch I purchased on their site. He said he does not have that one, but does have a black face.

I said I wanted white. Then he offered to fulfil the order with a white Explorer with no box or paper for ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS more. I said I was not interested and this seems suspicions. The then started cussing calling me all kinds of rude things.

They sold me a watch they did not have and wanted to replace it with a lesser watch for more money and I am the one who gets cussed out?

Extremely unprofessional and very shady business. Spend your money elsewhere.

Completely dishonest watch sellers

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Bought a US$50k AP Royal Oak from Jaztime; it arrived with a $2.5k markup.
  • - Pushers failed; AP says damage, not warranty; Jaztime says pay.

Completely dishonest watch sellers.

Background: Purchased a US$50k AP Royal Oak Chronograph in Rose Gold from Jaztime. When it arrived, I realized all they did was drop shipped from another dealer and charged an additional US$2.5k on top of the invoice. No problem, as I understand that's how they make their money.

However, one of the pushers was stuck and not working. So I called them immediately, took pictures, took videos, and sent it to them.

They said no problem, they will deal with it.

Only, when they got back to me, they told me to send to AP for warranty. So I did.

AP then tells me that the pusher was not a warranty issue but that someone had banged the pusher.

Of course, I told Jaztime this. Their response after a week of no responding?

Pay for it yourself.

They never verified that the watch was in mint condition (which I had purchased a brand new watch), and told me it was my fault, that I didn't know how to use AP!

I have 5 AP watches and never had these issues!

For spending $50k, this is the level of service.

I am out $5.5k because I bought a watch from Jaztime.com

I sent 7 emails and called over 5 times and they just ignored me!

Don't do it, and go to other reputable dealers. These guys are a joke, they don't stock inventory - in other words, you'll find cheaper prices and better customer service from everywhere else.

Not sure how someone who deals in high-end watches can treat customers who spend so much money like that.

Go to Jaztime.com if you want to be ripped off. Don't be fooled by their videos - they are only there to help them appear trustworthy.

wow, I am also looking into buying a $52k rose gold royal oak with them and now reading this review really makes me 2nd think about this since is not a small amount. As a customer I agree that if the watch stated brand new the seller should back up the statement 100% and take full responsibility to anything that goes wrong with the watch, any reputable company will at least back this for at least 1 year if there's a mechanical failure to it.

  • - Written deal with Chris to trade 4 Rolex for a Panerai 243 and $2,000 was not honored, $100+ insured shipping costs, refund promised in 2-4 weeks.

This company is a bunch of liars, scam artist and they will commit to a deal and put it in writing then back out of the deal later. This is the common bait and switch tactic.

Stay far far away! I called spoke with Chris we agreed I would send him 4 Rolex and he in turn would send me a Panerai 243 and a check for $2000.00. I had my secratary package the watches and buy a label to ship them to him. I later called back to confirm and was told they would not honor the deal regardless that it was in writing and I had a copy of it.

Not to mention I had already spent over 100.00 in a postage because of insurance that i am stuck eating.

However, Chris was kind enough to remind me I could apply for a refund in 2-4 weeks. These guys SUCK!

Feedback Extortion:

Customer misrepresented his two Rolex Datejust as newer by 10 years, says it comes with box/papers when they had box only and no papers. His third Rolex Datejust he did not disclose it was a midsize as opposed to his stated full size 36mm.

All three watches had no papers. When asked for proof of purchase, customer refuses and will not disclose where he purchased, doesn’t know any of the history. Has a fishy story about how he got the watch as a gift. Did not have appropriate knowledge of his 3 Rolex’s.

When asked for serial number would not disclose. Very suspicious for stolen Rolex.

Insists that we take his three watches plus $3000. We refuse service and decide against the deal all together after all the misrepresentation.

Customer threatens to leave negative feedback if we don’t buy his 3 watches. Customer never sent watch, we never took payment, we never sent watch. No transaction between Jaztime and this customer, thankfully stopped.

Unreasonable customer that will only be happy if he gets his way.

Bottom line:

Business declined on the basis of suspicious stolen Rolex, no proof of purchase, unreasonable demands

Terrible experience

AI Highlights
  • - Verbal agreement; paid via PayPal; address omission changed type.
  • - Ken blocked calls; funds moved from PayPal to bank refund, causing a 3–5 day hold.

Made verbal agreement over the phone, sent funds via PayPal goods and services. Payment came across as payment for services instead of goods.

PayPal admitted that the address was accidentally omitted which would make it a services instead of a goods purchase. Called PayPal, they offered to fix the problem immediately so that Jaz Time would have their money and could ship the watch that day but Ken of Jaz Time refused to take the calls from PayPal or myself. He went so far as to block my phone number so that I could not contact them. If that wasn't bad enough, instead of refunding our money from their PayPal account, in which we would have the funds immediately, Ken decided to remove funds from the PayPal account and refund using his bank account through PayPal, which ties up the money for 3-5 days.

They have use of our money for several days interest free. I am not a bank!

The date was Friday the 14th. Did they use our money to make payroll?

Wont refund my money on luxury watch

AI Highlights
  • - The watch arrived in poor mechanical condition; refund was denied and it was refurbished without consent.

Jaztime Jewelers of Irvine CA refuses to refund my money on a luxury watch that I purchased from them. Despite verbal assurance ahead of time (pre purchase), the watch was found to be in poor mechanical condition.

Upon their request, I gave them one chance to fix the watch. The watch was then mailed back to me yet again in poor mechanical condition. I sent the watch back (again) with written, explicit request to refund my purchase price. Jaztime refused.

Jaztime instead (without my prior consent or knowledge) then had the watch refurbished.

Jaztime then, against my explicit, written wishes, mailed the watch back to me. However I no longer want the watch, I want my money back

I didn't read anywhere that you disputed the claim that the watch was in poor working condition. Do you dispute that claim or no? Selling the watch "as-is" and disclosing that it's a piece of *** are not exactly the same thing.

This customer purchased a used omega seamaster chronograph on ebay from us. The auction started at 99cents and was for a USED omega in 'as is' condition.

(ebay item number: 330503****49, as you can see it was purchased back in Dec5, 2010. He then posts a comment 3 months later) The customer received it complained it did not keep time. We had him send the watch back to us, we then had it FULLY SERVICED with a 1 YEAR warranty free of charge, even though our ad clearly stated 'as is.' Customer paid bottom dollar on an auction that stated no warranty, as is, and we still took the watch back and did a FULL ONE YEAR warranty.

Customer wears watch for 3 months then asks for a full refund...Unfair remark by novice buyer. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions.

Sounds like JazTime is really shady.

Guest

Sounds like JazTime went the extra mile for this trailer park buyer.

Guest

It took '3 months' because that was the delay occurred by Jaztime with the supposed repair (the first time! and watch still mailed back to me in poor condition) and all the shipping and contact time (time waiting for email/phone call returns).

It simply took that long before Jaztime stated I was not going to get my hard earned money back. Jaztime delays things out of their incompetence and then they have the audacity to blame me for the '3 months'. The watch was indeed listed 'as is' but again Jaztime jewelers told me over phone the watch was in 'great mechanical condition' prior to purchase. Jaztime clearly doesn't know their merchandise.

I may be a beginner E-bay buyer (34 purchases with all excellent reviews by sellers; with Jaztime being my first ever complaint against seller!!) as is evident by my still trusting most ebay sellers. But don't trust Jaztime.

Its true they offered me a 1 yr warranty but after I requested my money back. I want my hard earned money back; not a warranty
